Does SCF still exist? I just tried to access my old account and I do not see any live content. What gives?

Good old SCF. Haven't been on that site in forever.
SCF is still around, but they lost about 75% of their traffic when they re-did the website. The admins claimed it was necessary because they were getting hacked right and left, which is probably true, but the new version is just ugly and more difficult to navigate.
Basketball is more or less dead there. Baseball has a bit of traffic. Football is doing alright. My understanding is the hockey is pretty lively.
I still check the site daily. Do a deal or two a month, but that's it.

I still go on there to trade but the sports and card discussions are pretty much dead. The only room that gets any traffic is the Politics and Religion section and that always turn into a petty elementary school yard argument. I can get better discussions with my gold fish. Oh yeah go back on there and run and tell them I said that. Quote me on it.

I visit both sites, it's still alive, but Blowout is easier to find new posts.
SCF has too many sections.

I use SCF still, but it seems very hard to get any deals done in the basketball section.

I also use SCF, but really only with a few repeat traders, and I only really use it for trading. For buying and selling, it's not even close.
The one thing that SCF has that far exceeds BO is the Trade Manager, IMO. I thought I had read that BO was working on one, though, so maybe that's coming eventually?

I was going to say that as well. The Trade Manager function is good so you can track your trades and won't forget one lost in PM's or something haha

Yeah that would be nice. To be honest I don't even know how to trade on here and never bothered because of the lack of a uniform trading model. Hell I even did a couple of trades on thebench.com.

And again my goldfish would give me a better conversation than any of those that you mentioned.

There are a few people over there than I make deals with on a regular basis so deals can be done if you know how to navigate past all the crap over there.

It used to be fun over there but the "you're racist because you don't kiss our @$$" theme started to get old real quick. I do pop in there from time to time when things get really slow but that's about it. I used to have wick on my facebook but he got butthurt one day when I was clowning Tony Romo and left my page.

No, I don't do much basketball. Mainly football and baseball, and trades more than buying. Although, I have had some luck selling. Like many have posted, I really like the trade manager especially when your message box gets full and you accidentally delete a message you may need to track a trade or card.
