By books, I mean actual books! :) No triple jersey patch autos here. Mods: I am aware that this is a bit of a stretch, but I did read the rules and don't think I'm doing any injustices.
They are all in good shape for reading, though some of the covers are dinged and whatnot. I will let you know which are.
My personal favorites are marked with a :)!
Here are the books I have for sale:
The Story of Baseball (1999) by Lawrence Ritter. Foreword by Ted Williams. Revised and expanded. 3
Classic Ballparks (2004) by James Buckley, Jr. Hardback with illustrations and interesting facts. The parks in question are Polo Grounds, Fenway, Tiger Stadium, Ebbets, Wrigley, and Yankee Stadium. 3
The Big Book of Baseball Brainteasers (2004), multiple authors. 1
Dingers! (2006) by Peter Keating. Published by ESPN, it is a fantastically illustrated book about everything related to the long ball. 3:)!
The Men in Blue: Conversations with Umpires (1980, but a new edition) by Larry R. Gerlach. Wonderful, rich account of umpiring back in the old days. 3
The Shortstop (2 copies) (2006) by Rob Trucks. I loved this series as an aspiring shortstop in 2006. Features interviews, short stories, and a "Day in the Life" of a major league shortstop. I drew all over Jeter on one of the copies. 3:)!
The Starting Pitcher (2006)by Rob Trucks. See above. Fantastic series overall. Features "Day in the Life" of Andy Pettite. Also features an interview with Dock Ellis about his no-no on LSD. Not suitable for kids who have never heard a curse word. 3:)!
The First Baseman (2006) by Tom Keegan. See above. Fantastic series overall. Features "Day in the Life" of Sean Casey. 3
Roadside Baseball (2003) by Chris Epting. Taking a roadtrip? Take a detour to some hidden treasures. 2
The Mental Game of Baseball (1995) by H.A. Dorfman and Karl Kuehl. Ty Cobb says that what's above the player's shoulders is more important than what's below. Absolutely ideal for the young teenager thru high schooler trying to actualize their natural talent. 5
All-New Baseball Brainteasers(2006) by Michael A. Morse. 60 fun Major League puzzles. 1
1001 Fascinating Baseball Facts (1994), multiple authors. Facts, records, anecdotes, Quotes, Lore, More. 1
Unofficial Guide to Baseball's Most Unusual Records (2004) by Bob Mackin. Find out who rented himself to fans to pay his legal bills or ruined the most no-hit bids. 2
The Love of Baseball (2005) is a hardcover chock full of stories, statistics, and great pictures of the game up to 2005. 5
Baseball Field Guide (2006), multiple authors. If you need a well-designed, illustrated guide to the rules of baseball, this is yours. 3
Rob Neyer's Big Book of Baseball Blunders (2006). You can lose entire days in this one, reminiscing on the worst decisions ever made--in game, and behind the GM desk. 3:)!
Summerland (2002) by Michael Chabon. The only fiction book in my collection. From what I recall as a kid, fantasy, goblins, baseball, giants, baseball. 3
The Umpire Strikes Back (1982) by Ron Luciano. Humorous classic about umpiring. 1
1001 Baseball Questions Your Friends Can't Answer (1997) by Dom Forker. Most challenging trivia book I've ever come across. On any topic. 1
Baseball Bafflers (2001), multiple authors. Quizzes, Trivia, Brainteasers, etc. 1
Watching Baseball Smarter (2007) by Zack Hample. Per the book's description: "A Professional Fan's Guide for Beginners, Semi-experts, and Deeply Serious Geeks. 2
Shipping will be $3 for the first book, with discounts for multiples. although for some I might have to change it. If so I will let you know. Not trying to profit off this.
