I know these don't surface very often and not many sold in completed listings. I have an opportunity to pick up the Jim Brown but still don't want to over pay. Guy is asking $400, its below the one on ebay but the price still seems a little high? Anyone with more experience with this great set that knows more on pricing?

I forget, are those numbered? Seems awfully high for anything Brown related, even as good as he was.

Yes first /25 were autographed. That's what I was thinking, even some of his nice NT low numbered patch autos don't really go over $150

Looks like this. I think the high price comes from set collectors and rarity of it coming available. Most are probably tucked away in sets/pc.

I did see that Sanders. But also I saw using the search tool here another Sanders a while back sold at $240 I think, and the consensus was that one was shilled.

You think the Brown would be less, interesting, I was thinking more.

As awesome as Jim Brown is Barry Sanders always seems to bring a bigger premium then Brown. Honestly I would think the Jim Brown is really obtainable at $150 to $175, $400 is way to much that's all I know

150-200 would be my estimate on the Brown. He has a lot out there. Great card though. 200 is nothing to sneeze at.

Yah Im thinking the guy just saw the one on ebay and priced his below hoping Id bite. The $400 seemed high to me aswell but I know what a sought after set it is.
