I pulled a dual auto Barkevious Mingo and Tyraun Matthew/25 from a 2013 box of topps magic purchased from Blowout cards recently. A piece of the back surface of the card ( approx the size of a pencil eraser) had been scrapped off somehow prior to me opening it. This was my first dual auto and was excited to add it to my personal collection but my excitment was a bit deflated when I discovered the damage. Likely this card will never earn much value anyways but it still sucks. I have never pulled a damaged card pior to this. What do you do when you pull a damaged card? Is writing to topps worth my time, especially since they are losing their nfl liscensing? Thanks for your input.

Sorry to hear this. From my understanding, topps won't do anything about this. But if its for a PC then it wouldn't be too bad anyways for me personally.

Call topps, they'll make you send it in, they will probably replace it

No, Topps has been known to make things right in cases like these. They usually will require you to send proof of purchase and the wrappers. The problem is, with something like this they likely won't have another one laying around, so they will try replacing it with another card. They probably won't value the card much since it's two defensive players I'm afraid, but who knows?

Whoops. I meant to infer that they won't do anything about fixing the specific card he has since he said its a PC card. I think I've read that theyll only fix or replace that exact card in the case of a 1/1, but I could be mistaken.
