2005 Aaron Rodgers UD rookie premiere auto

So I just bought a bgs 9.5/10 on eBay for $870. People are asking 3-6k for this, but I saw a psa 9 sell for 400 a couple days ago. The guy bought the same card on eBay for 700 a month ago. Prior to that there was no sale on this card.

There are only total 9 pop in bgs and 2 in PSA.

You probably won't see it again as this is likely to go to my son one day, but did I get a fair price? It's hard to figure cause it's such a illiquid issue.

These are extremely underrated IMO, but the only problem with that card is all of the fakes out there, which deter people from buying them when they do surface. But you having a BGS copy is a huge plus and being a 9.5 is awesome. I would say you got a good deal. I think it would bring $1k especially if they go to the superbowl.

I haven't seen a fake of this particular card.

I am assuming that OP is talking about one of these?

The only other card designed like this has a different pose, so the auto is unique. I haven't seen a fake before.

Yeah fake rookie premiere autos are more common with the 2007, 2008, etc. designs

He is talking about Upper Deck Premier, not the Topps Rookie Premiere. Besides the fakes go back much further than 2007 for Topps Rookie Premiere.

If it went at auction for that amount, I would say that is the current value.

People asking thousands are just out of their mind.

And the autographs were inserted at 1 per case (24 boxes per case).
