Hey guys, been lurking on the main site and the forums for a bit. Noticed Blowout is located in Sterling, where I work, and figured I should get more involved here.

So how often do group box breaks occur on here? I'm new to those, do they usually work with people picking a couple of teams or players or number ranges? Whats the standard for that? btw I'm talking about participating not hosting one...

Looking forward to trading with a few of you, put your Capitals cards somewhere safe for me.:)!

Dark,

Welcome to the board and enjoy; this is a great place with some great members. Group breaks happen very often on this board. We usually have multiple breaks going on. On average a few a month (2-4) just depending on everyones taste and money flow. The way the picking works on basically every break we have is all randomized slots positions. You purchase "X"
amount of slots in a break and the host (who is never involved in the break..only hosts) will then generate a randomized list of slots from Random.org. Depending on the number of hits per case ect. the host will basically give you all the information you need to know as to how the break is being run.

Once again welcome, nice to meet you.

Horse,
There is the method above w/ randomized slots vs. hits, then there are TEAM breaks which seems to work fairly well in Football stuff. Breaks tend to ebb and flow, especially as there are lulls inbetween super hot products and lower end stuff. Welcome to the boards, participate when you can and good luck!
