matt4486 Blowout Baseball League

Ok guys we did 2 of these for football and it was a lot of fun and went really well. Prizes for the league is a case of 12 boxes of 2015 Topps Tier One. The way the prizes will be awarded goes from 1st to last and everyone will get one box of Tier One. We will break the case following completing the league and the team in 1st place will get the first choice of which box they want and so on for the remaining boxes down to last place. The cost for the league is $100. This covers the cost of the case which will be preordered and is $1,087.95 the remaining money will cover fees and shipping costs. This is a yahoo fantasy league. I have just 2 rules outside of the yahoo rules for the league and they are simple. #1 when signing up you must have your blowout user name as your team name. It is the only way for me to keep track of who is who. #2 Rule and most important. When is comes time to pay DO NOT mention anything about fantasy in the notes. You need to just put your blowout user name in the notes and that is it. There is a reason for this and it is because PayPal considers fantasy to be a form of gambling and in this case it is not as everyone gets something but if you mention fantasy anything when paying its a red flag for them on my account. If you pay mentioning fantasy you will get refunded immediately. Also when paying no gift payments will be accepted. Please only pay as Goods. Most importantly please enjoy yourself and have fun. Also the draft will be held on March 29th at 9:00 PM EST (this will not change so if you can't make it please select the autopick option on yahoo and create a list or just do not sign up. Its hard to work around everyone's schedules so that is why I have preselected a date.)

Just had a thought guys about this. Would those who signed up be opposed to instead of doing one single case doing 12 separate boxes that add up to the same total dollar amount? This way we can throw a box or two of some high end stuff in there along with some mid and a few low end boxes to keep the price down. This way seems like more potential for those who finish the fantasy league on top to get a better chance at some nice hits. Up to you guys LMK.

Payment will be due the week prior to the draft. I was planning on sending everyone a PM this afternoon once I get back to the office with all the details. I would prefer that we random via MOD prior to the draft so that we all have an idea of how the draft is going to go for us. Unless anyone objects to this.

Sounds great, Matt. Your team pretty much dominated after the first couple weeks. I was surprised to finish in 3rd especially after losing Giancarlo, and Wainwright for the season. Really hurt my chances.

Yeah that's impressive in itself. I always say that your roster after the draft never looks the same by the end of the season. There are just too many variables in a 162 game season. I really had a blast and was happy to win but I was sweating it out in the finals for sure. My wife kept asking me "What is so damn important on your phone?"

Sorry but these had to be put on the back burner. I've been working 12 hour days lately and haven't had a chance to get to the hobby shop for more supplies. Hopefully I get there this weekend and can ship early next week.
