LCS Pickups. Little bit of everything... Old School, New School, Iconic RCs & Inserts

Went to my LCS and fumbled through some card boxes and came across these hidden gems. Nothing high end, but still a lot of fun :)

First off, in theme with All-Star weekend...

Autographs of the All-Star Game MVP, a future All-Star and the games most underrated sharpshooter.

Next, I never could afford one when I was younger because it was a $250-300 card at the time, but now it is easier to obtain. One of the first iconic inserts of all time... Shaquille O'Neal Beam Team from his Rookie Year. Oh and the Hoops Redemption as well.

Onto the next pickups... I had to pick up these cards because a.) I went to college with Kevin Martin and used to play against him at the gym and b.) My favorite team during the late 2000's were the Sacramento Kings. Sweet on-card Autograph of Peja and Bibby brings back good memories. I also love the KMart because the Jersey Swatch is an actual part of the Jersey from the game in China that they played in. Very cool.

Fleer Ultra was one of my favorite sets back in the day and here are two sweet cards that I found. An Autograph of T-Mac in his prime and a Platinum Medallion Insert of the Admiral! Gotta love those Platinums :)

And last, but not least... Loved watching the Chicago Bulls and Detroit Pistons rivalry in the last 80's so I was happy to find a solid MINT 1986 Fleer copy (centering top to bottom the only issue) of Mr. Bad Boy himself Isiah Thomas and a shiny Star Chrome Reprint of MJ himself. Gotta love the Chrome finish of one of the all-time Rookie Cards.

Gotta love it when you can find some old school basketball singles at your LCS :flex:

where is there an LCS around Dublin? I'm hoping to move to the 614 in a year or so when I finish my PhD down here in Greensboro, gotta get acclimated to the hobby scene there (as it's virtually nonexistent here).
