BGS True Gem, Non-Shiny Topps Chrome/Prizm Rookie Card Thread

Now i know that graded cards are not for everyone, and thats A-OK, but i love them! :)

When it comes to BGS, my OCD takes it to the next level. Have to have all subs of at least 9.5 for my "GOLD LABELS", thats just how i roll. These are not as easy to locate as one may think, until you hunt them down and realize they are not as plentiful as Golds with a 9 sub-grade.

Im so like you.. Gotta have all 9.5+ subs.. I made up the term true BGS 9.5

Just like how we say true rookie card

I cant stand when something like the centering is 9.0

yup. I approve. Love that last year of topps chrome. Got a pair of derozan refractor 9.5 myself but they are not "true" 9.5

Not to argue - I love them too - but I'd rather have a 10/9/10/9.5. But all 9.5s are probably easier to come by.

I don't care about that. When I first started collecting BGS when they first started grading cards, they were very strict, and I would only get subs for 1980's and early 1990's cards of 9.5,9,9,9 and for 1970's cards subs like 9,9.5,9.5,8 or 8.5,9,9.5,8.5 like that. I only seem to have these 2 in all 9.5 subs for Topps Chrome Basketball...

Nice cards, i still wish topps was in the game so we still had chrome rookies, i just cannot get into prizm. Chromes look so much nicer
