Like others said that's not a bad case the point cards do suck but still a nice case. Wondering what the hell you were expecting though a 1/1 in every box ?

I somewhat agree with the OP, for $2200 per case, I doubt any of those cards except Smith breaks $75. The Savage has potential to be big but...
guess prices:
Alex Smith tag $25
Emmit Smith Auto $100
5 Various Jumbo Patches $10-$50
Kelvin Benjamin $60
7 Various Mem/ autos $20-$60
Tom Savage Nike $75
7 various mem cards $5-$30
5 autos $5-$30 (George f45king Gervin?)
8 Base cards $1-$10
2 points cards $20?
He can clear $1,000 before fees if everything falls right. The main problem is that his main "Wow" card is an unknown quantity.

I will say at first glance, I was with the OP, and thought what a terrible case as well, but seeing all the comments I had to investigate a little.
Sooo, I went to ebay to check the most RECENTLY completed auctions for these cards to see what they ended at (or something as similar as possible).
The Emmitt Smith card is hard to value. An auto/patch #'d /10 went for $157. The next two highest valued cards I found were the Kelvin Benjamin Auto/Patch ($97) and then....the Zach Mettenberger AU ($80). The Philip Rivers was #4 at $55.
I didn't look up the points cards value or the base cards.
For all the 'hits' (jerseys, caps, gloves, autos, etc.) I got a resale value of $956 give or take a few dollars. This total didn't include any shipping prices as I did this quickly.
Aside from the Top 4 I showed above, there were 13 other cards that sell between $20-$45, and another 8 that sell between $10-$20.
As someone mentioned above, this is probably a pretty normal case without a real 'wow' card (aside from the E. Smith). Should easily get 50% ROI, but that's still a $1000 loss.
I can see why the OP thinks it's terrible and why the price of the boxes should be closer to $250 instead of $350.
The cards are nice, but a real gamble at the current price.

I agree wholeheartedly.. the content value on Panini products has gone to hell and their point reward program is a total farce but but as long as it sell's it will never change it's a shame that thing they call greed.

It all depends on what the Emmitt sells for, but I kinda agree that this was a bad break. I'm surprised so many think otherwise.

this post may not make sense, but try to follow me.
if you are solely looking at money, then yes this was a brutal case. however, when you compare this to other cases, it is average. this whole product is a COMPLETE gamble. unless a case has 1-2 MONSTER cards, they are all going to be "brutal." the product is priced too high, making the ROI nearly impossible to reach.
so i believe the points being made (myself included) are not solely based on the "value" of the cards in the case, but more so with the comparability of the hits to other cases.

did you miss the part where he shared his break? maybe you were in too much of a hurry to be "that guy."
if you are solely looking at money, then yes this was a brutal case.
no. even if you're just a collector looking for nice cards it's brutal. the values exist whether you collect, flip or something in between. acknowledging the loss is just being honest about it.
however, when you compare this to other cases, it is average. this whole product is a COMPLETE gamble.
so... instead of acknowledging that Panini is putting less value in all their products, collectors should just consider that it's all relative? when the average ROI becomes 10%, then the case that gets you 15% is a big win?
Case and box breakers are very bizarre. I've never seen anything else where you purchase and open it, immediately sell for a 50% or greater loss, and think you did ok.

no, people should stop supporting these products, and in turn make panini produce something that will have value.
how can any company produce products like flawless, immaculate, AND national treasures and then expect all 3 to do well value wise. combine them into 2 products, spaced out a little more, and you may have the value.

People who use ROI and box/case breaking in the same sentence are bizarre. Cases/boxes should be purchased with the understanding that it's a gamble. Do you also complain that people who buy lotto tickets should get more in return for their money?
If you're a collector or a hobby purist, then buying boxes/cases makes sense. If you're looking at making money on cards then you better NOT be buying and opening cases of anything. Period.
