Don't think he will ever be the same. He might need to sacrifice this season in order to extend his career.

I wouldn't expect him to miss too much time for this though. Westbrook just has to carry them now and win the MVP award.

Man I hope Durant doesn't suffer the injury bug for years to come. Dude has too much potential.

I would have liked to see Durant get this taken care of before the All-Star break.
I think with a foot injury like this, the days of seeing Durant playing for Team USA in the offseason are gone. Needs to get healthy and stay healthy. He may not be 'old' by todays standard, but he has got a lot of miles on those legs.

Durant's injury woes are giving me flashbacks of how McGrady's injuries took away his greatness. Hope that doesn't happen to KD.

when you are 6'10" and you have problems on your foot/ankle it's a major problem in this career

So many stars get hurt, seems like Jordan, Pippen, Ewing, Barkley, Melone...those guys won't get injuried in that era...
They were really great.
