Ebay coupons, anyone ever receive them?

I was scrolling through my Ebay page earlier and noticed that it said I had a $5.00 ebay coupon code available on any purchase between now and 2/28. I've never seen this before and don't particularly know why I got it.

Anyone else ever get these before or know how they determine who gets them?

I've never gotten one for a specific amount like that, but I do occasionally get 10% off coupons. I'm not sure how they decide who gets them.

Only good for 2 days and on a item 25$ or more.

I only got ebay coupon when their website was down for 2 hours, and I got like $5 the next day because they were sorry.

No clue. I dont know of any packages that have been late, and I have 3 $5 coupons just in the last week...including one about 5 minutes ago. I just keep buying $5 micro USB chargers with them! :)

On the My Ebay screen, mine was right above my list of items that I'm selling. I was going to get a screen shot just now but it's no longer there. I did end up receiving a message on ebay later that day. The message went as follows...

i get a bunch of coupons but with nothing needed at the time which sucks, then when im about to make a big purchase, no coupons around

The best is when they send the 10% codes that can be used on eBay gift cards. I buy the max $1k in GCs and use them when they have 5x eBay Bucks.
