What is the concept or idea behind those kind of products besides pure gambling? I like those artist cards a lot, but why don't take your time and make it a standalone product? This just seems like a random compilation of nice cards.

This is going to make for some interesting group breaks.

that's it... pure gambling. and at $520 per box for 1 card, there will be lots of disappointing breaks.

I like buyback products but I think Super Break is sketchy. didn't they advertise a Beatles (all 4) auto in a product that mysteriously showed up in a later product? I watched some breaks of their big products and they were brutal. $3,000 boxes were people were getting $500 in cards and memorabilia.

but like you said.... it's just gambling.

I don't know the specific legal rights, but maybe someone else knows them: Are those companies (especially Leaf and this specific company right here) forced to introduce some kind of self-created or additional items/cards into those buyback products or do they just include them as an additional "gift" because it could be seen as a lottery ticket/ gambling product otherwise? There are those kind of cards in every single buyback product ever released, I believe (e.g. this absolutely ridiculous Lebron card in Super Break Basketball).

I believe repack products must contain at least one original content card from the company selling them. Otherwise, I'm not sure they'd be able to advertise the contents as 'their own' products.

@jrosales This is about what I was thinking of, too. Imo it shows how much expediency there is in those kind of products.

@No 1 Thanks a lot for posting the picture. Very interesting to read.
