Hello everyone,
I was curious on others perspectives on graded 1/1 cards. I recently purchased a Topps Finest Superfractor Auto 1/1 that was graded 9 mint with a 9 auto. I payed $450 for the card.
I was contemplating getting a Logo shield 1/1 graded 8.5 as well but its on hold for now. What are your insights on 1/1s that are graded?

I think its a good way to preserve card condition.

As a 1/1 I don't think it increases value that much unless the card happens to get a BGS 9.5 or 10. Even then I think the increase in value is minimal. This is coming from a grading bias.

The best thing about a graded 1/1 is the protection the case offers. I would like to get all of my 1/1s graded for that sole purpose.

Imo it's the same as any other card. If it's not a gold label it actually makes me desire a card less, regardless of the numbering, if it's a gold label it just ensures it's in good condition and doesn't really increase a cards value to me.

A lot of good points. I'm not worried about the value going up. Im a bit worried that it might go down.

I think true Superfractor or Championship ticket's 1/1's are worth grading but some the multiple 1/1's not sure it matters.

You CAN get it encased by BGS without a grade.

I'd say if it is PC, grade it for sure.

It's a PC pickup so glad that it was graded
