A refractor parallel set, #'d /99, of the Bowman's Best inserts which were included in 2011 Bowman.

The refractors (#'d /99), xfractors (#'d /25), and atomic refractors (1/1s) were case hits. They're parallels off of the regular Bowman's Best inserts which you got every few packs.

There are 25 veterans (BB1-BB25) and 25 prospects (BBP1-BBP25).

I'm currently working on the refractor set (#'d /99) of 25 prospects from 2011 Bowman Chrome (BBP51-BBP75). To tell the difference between the Bowman Chrome prospect inserts and the prospect inserts from 2011 Bowman, the Bowman Chrome inserts have a green background.

I have 52, 65, 67, 71, and 72. I need the rest.

Let me know what you guys think.

Matt

Cool idea for a set, I remember the Montero used to be an expensive buy

I know that refractors tend to look better with a camera and the angle so the light hits them just right, but I would suggest scanning those since the resolution (or perhaps the ISO) on that picture makes it tough to appreciate them properly.

They kind of remind me of Fleer Ultra from the early-mid 90's, judging by the name plates. I like them.

Marking this for when I'm home later, I have some of the 51-75's you need.

Yeah, took the pics with an iPhone 6. Not the best camera in the world.

Thanks! Yeah, it was tough to find Montero and Ackley for some reason.

I'll try replacing the camera pictures with scans later. I think you're right and that it should look better. Thanks!

Sounds good. I'm also trying to complete the 2001 Bowman Chrome reprint refractor (#'d /99) insert set from 2011 Bowman Chrome if you happen to have any of those.

Any chance you have a trout /99? I have a 9.5 /99 Harper if interested.
