------------- Card has been sold And paid for. Thank you all for all the help and info you gave me. Im excited to be a part of these forums and cant wait to continue to grow my collection with everyones help-------------
- Just started collecting again not to long ago after a 5 year break and decided to purchase a box of 2014 Bowman Chrome Jumbo from Blowout. Boy am I glad I did. This will definitely help fund my collecting needs for a little while.
Here it is.... (sorry about the bad pics. I don't have a scanner.)

I plan on getting it graded and then placing it on Ebay. Can someone shed some light on how long it usually takes BGS to send back a graded card thru registered mail? I figure it will be longer than usual. Also I researched ebay and couldn't find a sell price for the purple Refractor auto. Just a Black being sold for $4000 last night and a red that went for just under $6000. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

First off. WOW! All I can say. That's better than pulling most super's right now. Second, BGS has different payment options for speed. You just need to decide if you want to move right now while he's hot in ST, or roll the dice and hope he has a hot start when the season starts. Either way, epic pull.

I hope you can sell that card here of somewhere off eBay, those eBay fees can really hurt on high priced cards. Get that card to BGS or PSA as fast as you can so you can sell it ASAP.

Thanks a lot. I was under the assumption that anything insured over $3000 was mailed back from BGS using registered mail (snail mail)? Just curious what the majority vote is on time to get back using that method.

Yea I'm definitely sending it off ASAP. If I can get a decent enough offer from someone on here I wouldn't have a issue selling it :)!

list it in the buy/sell/trade section so some won't jump on you for spamming (which you aren't doing as of yet)

A Black Refractor auto /35 just recently sold for around that price so I'd venture to say even higher. Possibly $6k or higher if OP puts it up on E-Bay right now.

Not much of a premium with cards that have such a low print run like this. I'd put it up RIGHT now. If you were to get it graded and it got a BGS 9.5 you would most likely get less than if you sold it raw right now because in a few weeks by the time you get it back the hype will have most likely gone down.

I absolutely agree. However I'm overnighting it tomorrow to get it graded. I know its risky but I want everyone to know exactly what they are getting so they have more confidence bidding.

Agreed - just list it! :-)
But it now with immediate payment required, people who say "let it ride in auction" forget that most likely, some idiot with zero or little feedback will bid "for fun" and then you are stuck relisting and people questioning what happened the first time.
Take your 4 G's and run!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I highly doubt he only gets 4k for this card. In fact I would auto decline any offer lower than 4k and shoot for something around 6k.

His 0 feedback here and on ebay is going to make it difficult to get top dollar. Would be better off selling to someone reputable and leaving a little meat on the bone for them.

Not an expect by any means...I would think getting it graded through beckett's 2-day service would be the best bet. You could over night it there and have them over night it back. Have the card back in a week.

Hope you didn't get rooked into selling this a lot less than what's it worth. Lot of crooks on this site when it comes to guys like you with no feedback and not a lot of insight on what you have. Lots of good members..... lots of thieves also

I was kind of assuming an off-Ebay sale of $4K or on Ebay of $4500-$5000, after fees, clear $4K. Completely agree with ya, just trying to make a point... Which the OP did, sold it, banked it, well done man!

There's a cap on ebay fees. They don't take 10% of sale price above a certain price point which this certainly is way above that price. Sweet purple Bryant auto.
