Wow, this could be a steal if he stays healthy. I love Eaton and I hope that he stays a Sox player for the rest of his career.

Are the Sox adding 50 layers of padding to every part of the outfield wall from left center to right? If no, This may not be a "steal" Eaton can't play reckless going at the walls.

Even if he goes on the dl once a year, the contract is worth it. He's really good. Great defense, high Obp, high average, don't grow on trees.

That was a completely different trade a week later. Reed sucks here.

We traded Eaton and Skaggs and got Trumbo. 2015 will probably be his last year here. It was just so stupid.

At Spring Training I told Davidson I miss him onthe D-Backs and he said he misses it too.

He lives to troll...but when it comes to the Cubs player "OMG, he's the next Babe Ruth, sure thing HOF!!!". He talks bad about players like Eaton but still thinks Baez is a future superstar and no way will he be a bust.

I really don't think we won on the Reed trade, he is awful. He blew way too many games.

And Davidson is still young, I can see him being a solid 3b for awhile. He just needs a chance.

1 more thing about Eaton. I'd give up all my 600+ Eaton cards to have him back on the D-Backs.

Sometimes I like a player mostly cuz of their Topps RC. His is one of my favorites in 2013.

Eaton had a really good defensive season last year (1.8 dWAR) but the years in between he's had a negative dWAR. This year was his worst, put up a -1.1 dWAR.

No. Notoriously good scrappy clubhouse guy across the league. Already one of the leaders on the White Sox. Popular with the fans as well for signing and taking pictures.
