Mislabeled BGS Lacy and Shady ebay seller

So I did my weekly ebay search for lacy and came across this listing for about the millionth time.

2013 Topps Chrome Eddie Lacy 1965 Tallboy Auto SSP BGS 9 5 10 Pop 1 | eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/2013-Topps-Chrome-Eddie-Lacy-1965-Tallboy-Auto-SSP-Bgs-9-5-10-POP-1-/111456173439?ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:US:1123)

So I decided to send him a pm saying hey this is not a chromie you should probably change your title. It is mislabeled by BGS as a topps chrome when it is clearly a regular topps. Said in my pm it seems kinda shady to list it like that, I would but something like "ebay 1/1 BGS mislabeled card or something" He responds by saying take it up with BGS, not his fault. IMO this seller is pretty shady and I would stay away from him. Just thought I would share.

Find it funny he's asking $300 OBO. I bought mine off Ebay for $30

I told him the whole listing is shady and the asking price is misleading. I told him to do a quick ebay search. he replied he didnt care, he wasnt changing the listing. I was like wow, your shady. he said take it up with BGS.

I think he probably bought it of someone thinking it was chrome and screwed himself, now trying to screw someone else.

Hate to say but I sorta side with the seller. There are a lot of clueless people in the hobby, just doing it for profit and he might not know that it is mislabels, so it's your word vs Beckett's

can easily do search of card to see it's not a chrome card. So 1 if someone buys this thinking it's a chrome card they are stupid and should not be buying cards. 2 if they pay what he is asking they are stupid with too much money.

Not his fault BGS mislabeled it. If he were to not list it that way a buyer could just as easily file not as described because of the label.

The card determines what the card is, not the BGS label. Very misleading and sketchy regardless.

I will admit that i did read his post wrong, i took it as he was implying alot of stupid people on ebay and the guy was trying to take advantage of them. I think he was saying there alot of noobish sellers not knowing what they are selling. my appologies tones.

OK this particular seller is very amusing. Apparently he is a member here but will not tell me what is handle is and keeps pm'ing me through ebay. I will post all pm's to date maybe he will post directly in the thread, I assume a couple of his friends have posted in here already, if not himself.

If I was him, I would just send it back to BGS letting them know that it is mislabeled. Not sure why the seller couldn't do the same, I am sure they would fix it..
