Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could tell me if Season 3 had any fakes come out?
I was reading that there have been in previous seasons...but nothing on Season3.

The reason i'm asking is that i bought one from a local shop...and i saw the exact card on ebay, well the exact picture. I reached out to both the ebay seller and the person i got it from, but neither have gotten back to me.
Walking Dead Season 3 Andrew Lincoln as Rick A 1 Auto Autograph Card Free SHIP | eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Walking-Dead-Season-3-Andrew-Lincoln-as-Rick-A-1-Auto-Autograph-Card-Free-Ship-/201195844450?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2ed834f362)

My card is this exact card pictured. every space bump or anything on the auto is the same as mine.

any help would be appreciated.

thanks

Hope its not a fake.does yours have an hologram on back??fakers struggle getting that 100% right.if you could post a PIC of your card, front and back.webjon is an expert on this and he would look into it.

It's def the same sig, but that listing says last one/3 sold. The seller is probably who you got the card from, and it happens to be the card pictured on that listing, there's not pictures of all four.

Or one or both are fake. But it's probably the former.

Did you get your card from someone in Oxford, NJ?

There are reprints of the card but just seems to be a case of someone using a stock picture.

Or the person you bought it from might have just bought it off that seller. Especially if you paid more than $103 lol. Maybe he was looking to make a profit. As long as the sig is actually written in sharpie and not printed in the same ink as the whole card, it should be good.

it's weird though, if you look at the listing, and when you click on the 3 sold, it says $15 for all 3

it's definitely a sharpie on the card and i'm pretty confident in the card and with the guy i got it from
so hopefully it's just a case of the ebay seller grabbing a stock photo like you mentioned.

thanks for the input everyone
appreciate it!

If the entire card is not reprinted and there's an actual sig, it's got to be real, and just the same card in the image, you couldn't recreate those streaks in the sharpie even if you tried lol. And most likely an auto pen wouldn't have streaks because the pressure used would be even.

My A1 from Andrew Lincoln out of that set was pack pulled, and has a very similar looking signature, but Lincoln's signature doesn't vary much in the Season 3 Part 1 cards from what I've seen. There is a lot of pressure in the application, on mine he pushed down pretty hard with the sharpie and the signature has some texture to it; the signature itself is indented. Don't know if that helps, but he is definitely a confident signer. Even though his signature is simple, it would be difficult to reproduce with that sort of confidence.

Y full signatures r important. At least more than two letters would keep the most basic forgers from trying 2 make a buck.

Don't know much about WD but did see some unsigned cards of Lincoln and reedus. didn't reedus pass some of his out? Thought I saw a thread on here while back
