Anything with a * is PC however, I'd consider a trade for a different Huy because I have a bunch of Sela from him.

Totally agree with aggie. I'm not familiar with his work but that Truong is a sweet sketch.

Man what is it with UD sets. Why can't get they get kind of quality artistry?

Independent card releases typically have overall better quality. My guess is probably due to a bunch of different factors. The biggest one probably being that typically they don't need to do as many and probably have a longer time to do them. There were only I believe 300 packs of this and the majority of the artists did around 12. Counter that with Topps/UD needing thousands and hundreds from an artist in a short window. Who can blame them?

Plus, I'm guessing, that with the Independents those are mostly run by artists themselves (Perna for example) hiring people they probably have personal relationships with so, I'm sure they don't want to produce crap for them.

And last, the Independent ones give artists an avenue to do different things rather than "Hey, I gotta crank out 100 large breasted Marvel characters"

And small companies tend to pay more per card and/or give more APs.

Yah, that Huy and Maus are both very nice.

I'm not sure what is up with the speckles trend I've been noticing. It can be a nice effect, but that Maus would have been 5x better IMO without the speckles.

They don't all have to be large breasted! Actually, I'm not even sure large breasts are allowed any more. Who can keep up with the restrictions on these Marvel sets?

Nice break. I'm about to post mine. Pulled all the same artists except I got an Amber Stone instead of Scott Rorie. Which is cool, because I dig Amber's work. Is it a name thing?!?

What, do they measure them with a caliper?

Well... I know several artists had cards rejected for having too much cleavage. As if they invented the costumes!
