Best Pack Pulled Card?

Of any boxes you've ripped what is your top cards that you've pulled yourself? Personally I don't break boxes hardly ever so about the best I've pulled is a 2013 BDPP Clint Frazier auto or 2012 Bowman Platinum Josh Bell Auto Red Refractor. It will be easy for you guys to top mine considering I fork out money to eBay for most of my cards.

Unless I'm looking at the wrong card, there have been 10 recent sales of this card, with the FIRST one being at $1499.99 BIN that possibly didn't get paid for. Last one sold for $512 and there are (3) on eBay, including yours, ranging from $575 to yours being the highest at $850.

2011 Triple Threads. Pulled a Kershaw/Koufax/Chapman triple relic/auto /18. Sold it for $350 (really wish I still had it). Before that, my best pull was a 2002 Fleer Tradition Update This Day in History Jeter auto. It was one of the many cards my ex-wife took when she moved out. She claimed I "gave it to her" for her birthday one year.

Pulled some decent stuff (dual logoman griffey/Thomas auto out of five star, Drexler and worthy five star auto logoman from 2013 treasures) but best/ most expensive pull would probably be the 2013 tier one Clemente bat knob below. Also pulled the killebrew out of five star at the top.

Walked into a comic store in 1998 and they had 2 packs of Upper Deck basketball left - bought both and hit the Michael Jordan game used jersey card ... sold it the next day for $1000

Pulled this is around 5 packs of Bowman Draft. Sold it I believe for $230 a couple months later. Guess I should've held it :o

It's alright, though, because I bought a bunch of his lower end cards that will net me a very nice profit :)!

Although I sold that too early, I sold this at just the right time for $125 (last sold for $63). Pulled from a single hobby box from the same store. Also pulled a Jose Ramirez atomic auto /5 that sold for $45 from the same box, so you could say I've had some very good luck when it comes to opening packs.

Mine isn't really "pack pulled" but I didn't buy it as a single. If you remember the Topps Golden giveaway from a couple years ago, all the losing codes were entered into weekly drawings. On the last week the grade prize was a Ken Griffey jr. coin auto #'d to 30 and I won. It was pretty cool and I wasn't expecting it at all.

Mine was a 2014 Topps Tek black and white refractor of Omar Vizquel. Thought I might get $100 for it when I pulled it, but ended up getting $500. Thank you crazy Vizquel collectors, that paid for some nice Delgado logoman cards for my pc.

I think this is my best ever, what sucks is I sold the Urias within hours of Pulling it, the guy who bought it off me traded it to someone else that weekend and the current owner got it graded. Came out Pristine 10/10. Part of me wishes I still had it as I'm sure it's going to sell for more than triple what I got for it but I'm still happy and still have the Bryamt which will be going on The market as soon as it gets back from Beckett.

Value-wise - the 2009 Bowman Draft Gold Mike Trout auto.

But, my all-time favorite pull is from 2006 Allen & Ginter - the first year - I pulled a "sweater" card of John F. Kennedy. I am a history buff (especially US presidents) and when those first came out, I really wanted that card and I never thought I would actually pull it, but, out of the only hobby box that I bought, I got it!

One of the best pack pulled cards i got was out of 2012 panini EEE. Darin Ruff status gold #/5. sold that bad boy for $100 about a week after i pulled it. Smart move on my part.

Pulled a John Ziomek Purple Refractor Auto last year too. Holding on to that one. He seems like a really underrated prospect value wise.

I've had a few other really nice pulls over the years too. Posey AU out of 08 draft. Plus this Stadium Club Retail Auto of Chipper jones out of a pack from CVS when i first started collecting as a kid. This was in 99, when pulling an auto was a big deal and The odds were astronomical, especially in retail. I was literally shaking in my moms car when i pulled it haha. Pretty sure that card hooked me into this hobby for life.


I don't really break a lot of wax anymore so i have to say ive been pretty lucky.

The Anthony Davis Gold USA graded Pristine 10, pulled in $2750. The Jeter sold for $2570. The Dom Smith was probably my favorite because Im a Met fan but had to sell when he turned into a singles hitter. I hope I regret that one day! The Harper Blue Sapphire Auto was my second favorite, because I chased him hard in 2011, probably bought 12-13 cases of 2011 Chrome, which netted me those 2 blues.
