I listed a baseball card on ebay for just under $360. Someone offers me $200. I counter with $300. The person comes back a day later with $325.

I'm stunned and assume it is a mistake, so I asked him directly if the offer was accurate. He said it was and that he would pay no later than Thursday. I accepted the offer.

The guy has over 800 feedback and 100% rating. Is this too good to be true or am I missing something?

So, he made a mistake, but then he said that he'd pay anyway?

I say go for it. The feedback speaks for itself.

I once had a buyer send me an offer on my BIN listing for HIGHER than my BIN price. Can you believe that one?

Last week I offered a seller $255 on a card,
He replied saying that he would accept $265 for it, so I asked him to set the listing to bin/bo so that I could purchase it for the $265.
His next response was that he decided he will take $255 for it and was lowering it to a bin that moment

some people buy so many cards they don't keep up with everything properly, he probably just didn't realize what he did.

I did this once by accident. I think
I offered $10 more for the card...wasn't baseball, fairly certain it was a lamichael James auto. The other party accepted..and I paid...lol

I just looked and it was a BIN of $79.99 and the guy made me an offer for $85, messaged me afterwards and told me they meant $65 but to go ahead an accept the offer, I sent over the counter offer for $65 and they accepted it and paid. I didn't even realize you could make an offer higher than the BIN price until that happened.

Lol... That's nuts. Never would have thought you could offer more than the bin.

I actually just had this happen to me a couple weeks ago. $18 card, guy offers $9, I counter at $13 and he counters at $16. I accepted the offer and he paid right away and left positive feedback.

So sorry to hear he accepted it! :-)

What happened to LaMichael? You might have been the person I was battling for EVERY single one of his chrome redemptions. I think I had 40 including variations. Man, aside from Javon Ringer Mr. LaMichael has been my biggest investment bust

Not sure I think he went to Miami but its only a matter of time before Chip Kelly signs or trades for him.

Lol..I'm not into "investing" in cards. I bought a lot of his stuff because I'm an Oregon fan. I hoped he would do well, but realistically knew he was fast, but small. I'm sure he'd have a breakout run every now and again...but not near reliable enough. Pretty much the same story with DeAnthony.

Further proving the point that 64% of all statistics are made up.
