Yasiel Puig: Overrated or Underrated?

Seems to be a very polarizing figure in this year's fantasy discussion. I think a case can be made for both sides.

His current ADP is #20 overall according to FantasyPros. What do you think?

If he ever realized how to not get caught stealing and turn a few more hard hit balls into homers he would be on par with McCutchen. He's still very young and improving.

Puig is younger and more skilled.

Underrated. Malay year something happened at the all star break and his power vanished. I expect him to show the same power he did in his first year. Around 25 HR. Last year he showed an increase in his bb rate and decrease in k rate, I expect that trend to continue on to this year. .380-.395 rang OBP wise. One thing people are missing is that Puig simply isn't good at stealing bases so I wouldn't expect more than what he's stolen in the previous two seasons, he gets caught 40% of the time.

And there were 28 outfielders who hit more HR than Puig last year, 23 more outfielders who had more RBI than Puig last year, 46 more outfielders with more steals.

He's not a top tier fantasy outfielder, waste of a keeper. He could easily draft him after his keeper selections.
