if you had 3 cases of immaculate you bought from say blowout or anywhere else at regular price would you bust it now in hoping to hit a wiggins RPA or many other future star RPA or whatever or would you hold on to the cases for a few years? I would imagine if wiggins turns out to be what everyone seems to think he will be to go with a few other solid all stars/superstars is it far fetched to think an unopened case can fetch 5-7k in 3-4 years?

Hold onto sealed case, sell at your first opportunity to profit even $25. Look at various breaks after release and convince yourself that your case you sold for a $25 profit was the same case as the dud with a Blake Griffin 2 color trim patch as the case hit.

depends if you can afford to hold like $7500 of product for 3-4 years. depends exactly what you bought them for, its already at $2600 here on bo, thats $520 a box. 13-14 came out at $375 or less at the very beginning, and was at something like $425 first day of release, maybe higher, but $520 in presell still is a high price already. i think itll go up to $3-$3.3k+ within a couple months. unless you truly dont need to worry about the money at that point, it will probably gradually go up over the next 3-4 years, but it would take wiggins or someone having the blake/durant/rose price skyrocket for it to really get over $4k+. its possible with wiggins and some others could help the price a lot too.

the realistic option is opening one case right away & see how you do, if you do really well you could probably then open the other 2 cases and at worst break even, and get the chance to get some really huge cards. if you do bad on the first case, then sell it all and hold the other 2 cases til some point. although once u start opening a product like this, itll be very hard to fight the temptation to just open everything you have regardless how your first case goes. and immaculate is pretty much a safe product to do pretty well on especially if you had 3 cases to hit one huge card.

but all in all, i cant see it ever getting to $6k-$7k, especially when its only 5 boxes this year. ad had the huge upswing earlier this year and i guess there is very little sealed 12-13 product available anymore, but i dunno if that wouldve even sold for $4k a case, maybe right around there because of the 6 boxes. its realistic for 14-15 to get to $3.5k a case within a few months to a year, depending how it goes. its probably a safe investment to make like $500++ per case after fees but i dunno in particular what price it might get to if you did hold it for 3-4 years.

I don't see this product being more than $600 a box anytime soon... 3k is the cap IMO

It really depends. If Flawless and NT suck as bad as last year then Immaculate is going to be the product for 14/15.. And if the rookies play well over the next year or 2 - and immaculate is hard to find ur going to be in for a great pay day. Personally, there is no way i can keep a case without opening it. it needs some massive self control.
