Received this in the mail today:

2013 Bowman Black Collection Autograph /25 BGS 8.5

Picked it up for what I believe was a reasonable price. The 8.5 may have brought it down in value, but because this set isn't exactly known for it's great condition, an 8.5 is probably the norm for these cards. I plan on cracking the slab soon.

Also, love the picture Topps used for this. I'm a big fan of the yellow A's jerseys.

Initially, I started picking his stuff up because I thought he was a good buy. He isn't amazing at one aspect of the game, but is a very solid all around player. Also, this past year for high school ball (senior year), I was asked to play short stop for the first time in a while and watched some of his showcase videos to sharpen up my fielding techniques. I know there are a ton of current major leaguers to look up to, but since I was already following him, I tried to model my game after his.

Definitely. The condition of the corners/edges could be better, but it's understandable. I'm glad I was able to pick up the two for pretty reasonable prices.

Today brought me my 8th 1/1 (5th printing plate) - 2014 Bowman Draft Yellow Printing Plate. Now just need the black and cyan to complete the TP-44 printing plate rainbow.

This may be my favorite printing plate I have. I love how the colors contrast (light jersey with a dark stripe).

I absolutely love the button. The sapphire border goes very well with the uniform color and really makes the card pop. If only there were logos, but even that can't take much away from these cards.
