View Full Version : No Autos in 2007 Bowman Chrome Boxes

Hey all, I opened 10 cases and several of my boxes had ZERO autographs, does anyone know what info I need to send to Topps to get my missing autos? And if so is the correct address to send my complaint letter:

Thanks for the help if anyone knows the answer and did anyone else have boxes with no autos?

i think you also need to send the upc cut out of the boxes with missing autos as well and a recipt.

Topps recently changed their policy on this to make it a little harder. You need to include the box w/ UPC code, all the wrappers from the box, and a reciept showing your purchase. That address should get it in the right hands.

Do I need to send the entire box or just the UPC?

When I have sent stuff in the past I just cut out the UPC code and a few of the packs (w/ everything else they ask for), not the whole box worth. Howevever, if you are sending in multiple boxes w/ no Autos? I'd make it super simple for them and make ziploc 1/2/3 with the different UPC codes and packs that go w/ the UPCs. Good luck and let us know what they send!

I pulled a couple boxes with two auto's. Just about fell of my chair, as one was a Hochevar.

I've had the same problem with Topps. Bought a box of 2007 Co-Signers which states on the box that you get 3 autos along with a dual auto. Got only 2 autos and no dual. Also some 2006 Chrome football boxes I bought didn't yield a rookie or refractor in a couple packs and some packs only had 3 cards while others had 5.

Of my 120 boxes there were several instances of bad packaging.

In 3 seperate packs I had both an orange and gold refractor. (Not complaining).
I had at least 25 packs only have 3 cards in them.
I had 2 packs have 2 xfractors.
and the last was one pack had a gold refractor, regular refractor and a regular auto.

The biggest problem is that people "make up" not getting the box/case/pack odds... and Topps and all other companies are trying to deter this from happening.

How tough is it for me to open up a case of cards that consists of 10 boxes, say I "missed" the case hit and only hit the "box hit" out of 6 boxes...then send in all the UPC labels? Not hard at all. Too many people claim "non-receipt" when they are just disappointed with what they did get. Yes, it does happen - but is "claimed" way too often. That is what the companies are trying to avoid.

If Topps is going to start cracking down, they better get their quality control in order. I have bought 10 boxes this summer of their product and 2/10 have not had their "box" hits. They took care of me with Finest sending me 2 crappy autos and I will see about my Star Wars coming up since I just sent the UPC, wrappers, receipt, and letter last week. If they don't take care of me, that will be their third strike with customer service and I will have to stick with Donruss and UD (which I hate since there is no value in most of their boxes) going forward.

Well, Topps is A-OK by me - they sent me my missing autos! It only took them 8 days from the day I mailed the letter! One of autos was an F-Mart Blue Refractor so.... Yah Topps.

Topps' customer service SUCKS. I go way back with them and posted to the old boards about hey they absolutely screwed me over Topps Sterling last year. I am addicted to opening cards, so I was not about to boycott Topps, but they have a black mark in my book and one more thing that goes bad and I WILL be done with them for good.

My only experience with them was a good one. Bought 1 box of Bowman Sterling and 15 of the cards were damaged. Replaced all except one refractor with the same card and the refractor they sent two different players of the same level. We'll see how it goes with the Topps Chrome FB auto that was not in the one box we bought.

As for the reciept, I paid by paypal will a printed reciept of the transactionbe acceptable?

I sent in for a missing auto from 2007 Bowman Chrome baseball earlier this week. I will post up what I get when it comes in.

I got my replacement today. Wes Hodges base auto. So, about a 1 week turnaround. Not too shabby.
