I currently have a BGS 9.5 KG rookie card, and the sub scores are 9.5 Centering, 9.5 Corners, 10 Edge and 10 Surface; only .5 away to 10 Pristine card. Is there any chance to get BGS 10 if I resubmit this card? Thanks!

It is not guaranteed you will even get a 9.5 back or a 10. Pristine 10's are hard to get. If you resubmit that you are resubmitting it to be regraded new. It can come back as anything.

When was your card originally graded?

I have talked to beckett, they wouldnt lower the grade to a 9 or anything like someone said, leave it slabbed and jsut have them review those two scores. I have a 86 jordan with 8 on the centering and then a 9.5/9.5/9, so .5 away from a BGS 9 and it is a 8.5 now. they said I can send in and have the centering grade re-looked at.

You never know man. Could come back with worse subgrades :|

I like buy cards that are already graded, but I never send a card for grading by myself yet, so if I want to give a try for the boost to 10 Pristine, do I need to crack the current slap and send the raw one or I can send the card in current 9.5 condition? By the way, can I ask for minimum grade when I filling the submit form?

There's an equally good chance it one of those 10 sub grades comes back as a 9.5

Can I ask them not to grade the card if it can't reach 10 Pristine? By the way, will I receive top grades if I submit multiple cards (20+) at same time?

yeah it is pretty simple, just say do not crack the case unless it upgrades to a 10. I would not be opening it myself. I do if I get an 8 back or something. I was told by beckett I can send it in and just have that subgrade rechecked. PM me and I will sent you the meat of the email the guy sent me.

Thanks for the info. Do you think I have better chance receive top grades (9.5-10) if I send multiple cards at same time?

doesn't make sense to me, why would beckett, take a card they have already graded back and go oh crap we can't do our job right let us regrade that higher for you... dont see that happening. i may be wrong but don't see them doing it.

Just goes to show how worthless grades are.

I agree makes completely zero sense. But remember we are talking about Beckett. The have no sense. So it's worth a shot.

I was thinking the same thing. If the grade does go higher or lower,it just shows they did something wrong the first time. Lots of collectors do it so I gues it is possible that the grade might change

I think can only change if you crack it open yourself. Don't see them regrading a sub differently if you send it in already graded. But then again anything is possible. But always a risk

you can pay for a "Review", which is done with the card remaining in the slab. if you get the bump, it gets re-slabbed, if it does not bump, it remains as is

There is still risk if they come back the same. Thanks for the advise! :)

Beckett still gets paid if your card doesnt get a bump up right????

Im sure they would welcome everyone to just keep re-sending in cards that have already been submitted for grading.

Save your money, not worth it imo.

Correct. Reviews are not free.
