View Full Version : Andrew Harrison, really?

Well first off, I am so happy my badgers won. Second, how stupid can Andrew Harrison be? They ask Karl Anthony-Towns a question about Kaminsky, and Andrew says into the mic "F*** that n****." Think if Kaminsky or someone from Wisconsin would've said that if they were asked about Harrison? Get some class Andrew.

And yes, I just realized there is a discussion for final four

Why would it get locked? This was mentioned in the final four thread as well. I didn't say anything either that makes it get locked.

It isn't what you said. It's where it will go from there.

But he meant no disrespect. At least that's how the Kentucky PR department is trying to play it off.

Harrison's comment, multiple Kentucky players walking off the floor refusing to shake hands, rioting in Lexington streets with fans burning things and chanting F*** Wisconsin. Keep it classy Kentucky. Hard to believe that a college basketball program could be the most hated team in American sports at the moment but sadly that seems the case.

Kentucky is the worst program around. I think john Calipari has a lot of class, but he's gotta send it through the whole program

Wow, what a hit to his draft stock in 1 day. Huge loss, exposes himself as the trash we all already assumed he was...Not a good day for the kid.

Does the lack of class really surprise people? We've seen rioting time and time again. It's just shocking anyone can be that stupid and say it on the mic.

Is it really shocking? At this point, in this society, it shouldn't be. People just continue making excuses for this behavior.

So glad Kentucky lost last night. All the media hype about the best team ever was getting nauseating.

It felt like I did when my team won the national title even though I don't particularly like Wisconsin either.

Thank you Wisconsin, now just beat Duke and all will be as it should be.

The PR department can try and sway it anyway they feel like, but that was a pure classless move anyway you look at it. It's easy to win the right way, but incredibly hard to lose respectfully especially when your first loss of the season comes in the Final Four. I kept telling people they needed a loss before the tourney to humble them a little bit and make them hungry. They skated by some lack luster teams too many times earlier in the year and sooner or later someone is not going to let you off the hook.

His stock should drop, but probably won't. Just think how utterly stupid you have to be to say something like that with microphones around you.

i listened to the quick thing he tweeted. I don't remember hearing anything down those lines. I think he was saying that the young black society would think that it is excusable. I don't think he personally felt that way. It seemed like he was really against what he said

I literally laughed at the comment too....Coach Cal and class,,Um Nope. I just wonder how long until Kentucky is on probation, just like his last 2 stops.

OP---Harrison is an idiot...BUT let's just play the other side for a moment. Let's say Kaminsky or another white player had said that. You'd have the race baiting Jesse Jackson, Al Shartpton, and the like descending on Indianapolis protesting and making speeches..

BUT, we'll just play it off as no-disrespect. What a Joke!!

Let's be real...this is how 99 percent of people talk in college and nba locker rooms when the cameras are off. Now was it stupid for him to say it in a public setting on camera? Yes. It was absolutely asinine. However, I think some people might be blowing it a bit out of proportion. I take more offense to the KU players not even having the class to go out to center court and shake hands after the loss.

I'm sure that Steven A. enjoyed watching Kentucky - a team without a single white guy in their rotation - get owned by a team entirely of white dudes, save Hayes and Thatcher.

Meanwhile, what are the odds Sam Dekker is the next coming of Larry Bird? Like holy hell that kid has skills.

Guys, guys...haven't you heard? You are all just haters and hate them 'cause you ain't them!

I obviously don't want UK to win as I am a Louisville fan, but mostly I don't have any ill feelings about the individual players. However, since day 1 I've said that the Harrison twins act like spoiled brats when things don't go their way. Every call that goes against them results in hands thrown up in the air, head shaking, staring down the ref, etc.
