Yea unless if the rockets can beat the Warriors in the WCFs

I don't think no one can beat them in the west

And we already know that clevelands goin to win the east

Cavs vs Spurs. Cavs in 6 or 7 not sure. This is why the Cavs should care about winning the last few games as home court will be crucial. They're 1 game behind spurs

Spurs will be in the finals, I've been saying that since November. They are not my favorite in the west, but they will certainly dominate come playoffs time. Cavs will cruise to the finals to meet the spurs. Hoping lebron can have a historic performance this year, what a story that would be

Austin Kaylor
04-06-2015, 09:48 AM
I do give the Hawks credit, they play team basketball just like the Spurs did last year, they share the basketball a lot.

And if kawhi Leonard would get hurt right now, they wouldn't even make it out of the first round because he is there main player I think, because of his defense

Spurs vs Hawks. unfortunately I think Spurs in 6

Austin Kaylor
04-06-2015, 09:57 AM
But I hope that the Pelicans get the 8th spot in the west, the way Anthony Davis plays every night, he deserves to get into the playoffs

And I got another questions for everyone

Who will get the 6th, 7th, and 8th seeds in the east

6. Milwaukee
7. Boston
8. Indiana with Paul George back and what he did last night, I know it was just 13, but that's pretty good to come back from what injury he had

I think we will see Spurs v Cavs and the Spurs take it in 6. Duncan gets MVP. Kyrie plays very well though.

JR Smith is hungover for game 4 and LBJ gets cramps and leaves at halftime in game 6 :eatit:

Cramps come on. He only got cramps that one game where the AC was turned off.

Spurs vs Cavs

Kawhi slows down LeBron, but Kyrie goes off. The Series goes to 7 and the Cavs take it.

Golden State is my favorite, but the Spurs scare me. Well, not me, but they should scare GS. I think that San Antonio is the only team that could beat the Warriors this season in a series, but I still think Golden State comes out of the West.

I think that the Cavs are the favorites in the East, which sucks for Atlanta. I just don't know if they can stop Cleveland in a series. I don't think (maybe I'm a homer) that Cleveland steamrolls Chicago, and I think if they meet in the ECF, which I think they will, it goes at least 6, probably 7, regardless if Rose plays.

I think that Chicago can beat Cleveland, because I don't think this Cleveland team is the Heat, of the James/Wade/Bosh days. I don't know that the grind and the wear and tear, physically and mentally, of playing against Chicago is going to be easy for a young, inexperienced (playoff basketball, especially with the stakes) team like Cleveland.

I don't know who's calling the plays, but while he may be experienced internationally, this is Blatt's first go around. How does he handle it?

The frontcourt battle, with Gasol/Noah/Gibson/Mirotic, even if Nikola plays some 3, vs. Cleveland's frontline. That should favor Chicago, I would think.

The PG position should, and does, favor Cleveland, with a healthy, and on fire Irving going into the playoffs. Brooks and Kirk. Well, at least Brooks can give you 1-2 games of 14 points or so, and maybe he goes off for 30. Kirk might have a 12 point game, and give you 3 the rest of the series...and he may play some tight, tough defense on Kyrie for 2 games, or he might not.

Rose...who knows? I think he'll be back, maybe not 100%, but he'll be close, IMO. So, if he can give you more positive than negative, especially compared to earlier this season, I think he'll be important at that point in the playoffs, and be around 16-18ppg, with about 3apg and 4rpg. Shooting...I'm hoping 46%, and that really, really sounds crazy to me, but I'm hoping his shot selection is better. His 3pt % around 36%, because he shots 1 a game. Hopefully.

So, I'll go with the 'homer' pick and go Chicago vs. GS, and I cannot see GS not scoring too many point to win, even if Chicago's defense can slow down the Warriors. GS just scores too many damn points.

GS in 6.

I DO HOPE CHICAGO WINS THOUGH. OF COURSE, I ESPECIALLY WANT CHICAGO VS CLEVELAND.

CAN'T WAIT.

Memphis could also be a dangerous team in the playoff

daeve

GS is great but they can't beat SA. plus Kerr is still a rookie coach, I don't think he's gonna outsmart Pop in a WCF. as long as Duncan and Kawhi are healthy they are still the team to beat.

I kind of feel the same regarding Cleveland vs Atl. kyrie/love/mozgov aren't as battle-tested as the Hawks. and the Hawks play such good team D that if LeBron struggles even a couple games, he won't be able to take advantage of his passing as much because the Hawks rotate so well. Chicago could give Cleveland a lot of trouble too if Jimmy Butler has a good series. you know Gasol will bring it and Rose will be playing for blood.

I can actually see the cavs losin in the finals for one specific reason.
Kyrie Irving. He will end up dominating the ball and jack up shots to lose the finals.
Just my two cents.

Stat of the day...

Cavs have won 18 in a row at home. In those 18 games they have trailed for a grand total of 73 minutes.

He won't be shooting if Lebron tell him not to. Also he is a good shooter so I doubt he would shoot them out and he can drive and finish very well so he doesn't have to shoot if his shot is off. Spurs can't guard Kyrie with Kawhi on Lebron.

So hard to predict.

I think the hawks can beat the Cavs. Cleveland have some weaknesses that can be exploited.

I still like MEM even though they're hobbled right now.

Let's look at the Cavs last game against each of the 8 Western Conference teams currently in playoff positions:

1. Golden State- Win
2. Houston- Loss
3. Memphis- Win
4. Portland- Win
5. L.A.C.- Win
6. San Antonio- Win
7. Dallas- Win
8. OKC- Win

3 road games, 5 home games. The loss was an overtime nail biter without Kyrie.

It took the game of a lifetime from Kyrie and an amazing end of regulation to beat the Spurs. I don't think the Spurs are scared of the Cavs.

Can the Cavs duplicate that type of performance? Pop knows how to frustrate Lebron.

Those teams are so lucky they only play the Cavs twice a year.

Sorry but this means nothing at all.

some nice wins in there but the Spurs game was the only one at playoff intensity and the Spurs choked it.

I'm looking forward to the Cavs losing against the Hawks, a true team that plays the right way and doesn't just rely on 2 guys.

The Hawks are a good pick. After all, they have been the SECOND best team in the East since Lebron came back from injury.

But from a Cavs fan perspective, the teams I am most worried about are:
1. San Antonio
2. Houston
3. Golden State

Nah, not without Matthews and not with an injured Aldridge. They're almost definitely out in round one this year (it looks like they'll be playing the Spurs, Grizzles, or Clippers).
