NBA players get to vote on MVP? Harden in the lead

This morning on sportscenter said that nba players get a say with an mvp vote

Not sure if this is true, but they mentioned that players around the league, the

majority picking Harden over Curry.

Personally I don't care who wins it, and either one can win it and you can't be mad.

I think the players vote for their own awards. Like there will be a "players' MVP" and an official one.
