Official "My Team Stinks" Thread

Just wanted to come here and vent because my team looks awful right now. By far the worst hitting in my league by a big stretch. I'm hitting a pitiful .150 over the first few days and am starting to panic(yes I know it's early). I'm probably dropping guys too eagerly for guys that will inevitably end up sucking anyway but who knows (i.e. Zunino for Devon Travis, Kennys Vargas for Travis Snider, Jose Iglesias). Just wanted to come here and see if anyone is in the same boat as me. If not, I suck and have a good day :)

I'm in the same boat. My pitching has been awful and I have the likes of Iwakuma/Lynn/Liriano/Hamels/Strasburg and my only pitcher with a win is Matt Shoemaker. Hitting is keeping me in it but my pitching has been awful

Mine is the complete opposite. My hitting is horrendous and pitching is doing decent. Luckily we added quality starts as a category or else I would be screwed. Only pitcher to gut me a W was Shoemaker too. Everyone else that has pitched has gotten me a QS, though. That should show you how unlucky I am right there.

I hate starting the year off in a "slump". I'm in 2 leagues and I drafted offense heavy in both of them. One league I'm hitting .158 with 4 runs, 2 HRs and 8 RBIs so far. The other I'm hitting .169 with 3 runs 2 HRs and 9 RBIs. Frustrating but luckily its only the first week.

Finally some signs of life. Have Odor, JD MArtinez and Salvador Perez. All homered in the game so far. Still hitting .180 but a sign of hope is always good!

My team stinks. 2nd lowest score in my CBS league this week....and the lowest is a 12 yr old! My worst pitcher is CJ Wilson and he was the highest scorer on my team -- 32 points sitting on my bench. I'm down by 68 points going into today. And the CBS "review" of our league draft called me the worst team in the league.

Well, I have Salvador Perez already and Dozier is sucking at 2B so I went and picked up Devon Travis.

Starting Pitchers: stink!!! This is my weak point I believe. Waited too long in the draft! I'll have to go thru the transactions this week to see who is left on the waiver wire, but last time I checked there was not much available. 12 team league, head-to-head

Your team is pretty solid IMO. Maybe you can move one of your reserves and one of your arms for a big pitcher? Honestly, you're probably just having a bad week because your hitting is pretty stellar. Pitching is decent but could use an ace to hold it together.

My team is off to a slow start. I've got a question for you guys. Should I pick up Pedro Alveraz? I would need to get rid of someone and I was thinking of dropping Aramis Ramirez for Alveraz, What do you guys think?

I like Alvarez for sure this year, especially if he's a FA pick up. Who else do you have to drop? I personally would drop Ramirez. He will get hurt again this season. Dude's made of glass.
