It's been a hell of a fine career. Canton will be holding a spot for him.

Great player! Always enjoy watching him jump over the line to make tackles

Glad he retired, didn't want to see them have to cut him. Hats off to not only an incredible athlete but a great individual off the field as well.

An uncaged beast on the field, pure class off.

Definitely great to see him retire a steeler while he still can hold his head with pride.

That sucks! One of my favorite Steelers! Man I'm getting old!

I'm glad it's ending this way, hopefully Troy is too. Would have hated to see a washed up version of him donning a different uniform. One of the all-time greats and a sure-fire first ballot HOFer.
Thank you for the memories.

Congrats to you Troy on a great career. I loved watching you play. Even though you were on my favorite teams hated rival I have nothing but respect for the way you carried yourself and played the game.

I'll always remember the snap count genius. Flying over the huddle at perfect timing makes for some of the best plays I've seen

smart man, has the money and awards. i am a cleveland fan but have nothing but love for a guy who played the game the right way and was classy off the field.

and he never had to deflate even one football to prove his greatness!
