Dude is unstoppable, the true MVP of this team.

12-13 32 Points wow, still 3:51 to go in the first Half!

Totally blew the Grizzlies out of the water with this one.

Would you rather watch LAL vs SAC and DEN vs Clippers over GSW vs Memphis?

The other two games are closer and more competitive.

You can watch the warriors game until the 4th, rant that warriors are stat padding by playing curry if warriors are up by 10+ points...then flip to another game.

Klay is the best warrior if you factor in everything about basketball. :)

If you use that scale, draymond would be. Klays defense actually regressed this year

Going off any advanced stat that is false Klay is much better. Draymond is not a threat on offense.

Not sure what advanced stat you're going by...
Draymonds offense is getting better. he also passes better than klay and finishes at the rim better. he is also in the running for defensive player of the year and the leader on the floor.

All that combined is certainly more valuable to the warriors. When klay was out for a week or so earlier, warriors did just fine

Are you not sure what advanced stats are? Its basically what the game has gone to but his defender this year shoots 43 last year 44.2. When he is guarding them its also much lower when he's within 3 feet compared to last year. Also this year he of course shoots the 5th best from 3. And I think 10th best FT shooter in the league? Comparing Draymond to Klay is comical Klay is clearly way better. Steph and Klay is very close but I would give edge to Klay.

4 Point game!

Warriors bench suck, know why? Because they didn't get any playing time most of the season. This will come back to haunt them in the playoffs

2 FGs in the 4th vs Memphis bench

I'm basically going by who I think is more valuable in terms of what they bring to the team. Obviously Steph is the most valuable in terms of offense, and he has become a pretty good defender as well. But if it came down to draymond or klay, the warriors would be hurting more without draymond than klay.

Not sure If that's what you mean by "best warrior"

Draymond Green ranks #11 on RPM and #7 on WAR. Both advance stats are better than Klay.

Warriors were pretty good when Draymond was on the bench most of last season. And Klay is much better this year. Not sure how you can say Draymond > Klay

They still won every game Draymond missed, not to mention many games where he wasn't even a factor.

Klay had 4 single digit games this season, 3 losses in those 4 games. Go Figure.

As much as I like David lee, they are a much better team with draymond starting at the 4 than Lee. I know a lot of you guys don't get to watch a lot of warriors games and immediately refer to stats to prove your points but draymonds value to the team has never been about the numbers. Same with bogut and iguodala. Most of you might think they aren't worth much to the team because they might only get 8 points a game but the warriors certainly would not be nearly as good without them.

Completely and laughably false, Warriors bench is one of the top 12 leaders for the year in minutes played at 18.6 with San Antonio leading the entire league with just 2.2 minutes on average more. Warriors bench also was 2nd in the league in assists per game. They also were the BEST shooting bench in the league at .475 for the year. There is no denying performance wise the Warriors have one of the top 5-10 benches in the league

So guess that blows your statement out of the water :)! :D

Klay Thompson is the reason Steph Curry should not win MVP.

Steph isn't even the best player on his team most nights.

Harden is ALWAYS numero uno!

100000% agree! Curry will win because his team has the best record and because he's the media darling (who also votes for MVP).

Harden is the real MVP in my opinion, and in the majority of the NBA players' opinion, who play against him and don't just watch him here and there like the media.

VERY valid point. The way this thread goes. Draymond > Klay > Curry. And Bogut and Iggy are also really good like Klay level. But this year's MVP goes to Curry?

And look at singular statistics? None prove this. The eye test doesn't and the numbers do not. I agree Steph is most valuable and top 2 best offensive player in game in terms of shooting and passing combined. Klay is the most valuable Warrior. And to the xavier guy those advanced stats which aren't really advanced stats don't get into advanced stats. When the warriors go small and play draymond at the 5 they also have usually Klay, iggy, livingston and steph. Thats a tough defensive 5 that boosts all 5 of those guys efficiency numbers and when Klay comes out iggy comes in the drop off is not significant on there defense which doesn't help Klay out in those Wins above replacement :)! Drayman either plays with Bogut which helps those numbers or with the small lineup of 6'6 guys who can guard anyone and the other team playing small ball so 6'7 draymond doesn't get whipped by a 6'11 duncan type guy.

We are taking about this particular team and not player vs player in a bubble.
Drayond better skilled...No. More important to the team...yes. If they replaced Klay with iguodala the team would not fall as much as if they replaced draymond with lee or speights. Draymond guards all positions, leads fast breaks off rebounds, plays elite D. He also has enough offense keep defenses honest.
When Klay was out with injuries warriors played just as well.

Curry is the most valuable on the team no doubt. Everyone is a lesser player without him on the court. Teammates get more open shots when defenses focus on stopping him

Would not be surprised or upset if harden wins MVP even though warriors manhandled them each time they played. I just don't get why anybody would select Westbrook over curry or harden...that to me is laughable.

Draymond guards 6"11 guys on a nightly basis. Wasn't he guarding gasol tonight? How did he do? He also guards dirk and Blake and all the other elite pf/c in the league. Klay is an elite scorer but every year he has slumps that last weeks at a time. I'd love him on my team but in this system his role can be replaceable with not a great decline. Since he had that 39 pt quarter against sac to almost now he has been in a slump or injured on most games. Warriors still beat most opponents.

If everything you go by in regards to who's better for the team is stats, a computer can be the gm of a team....scouts wouldn't need to travel to watch games...

Such a Fun Player to watch and Its a Blessing Watching Him Play Live were Steph Goes for 45 points last Thursday...

This is Warriors Time to Win It all... Since they won't be able to afford those young Guns next year... I mean Draymond Green, Harisson Barnes..

Certainly a fun team to watch. Warriors should be pretty much in tact next year... Draymond is the only free agent but restricted. Lacob has already said he will not be going anywhere meaning he will match any offer. Lee will probably be the odd man out and will likely be traded. He will be in his last year I believe...so his 10+ million contract will be attractive to many teams.

To score 25 points in a quarter twice in a season is really impressive. I don't know if I trust Golden State or Atlanta in a conference finals series yet though.
