I heard a couple of experts talking about how underrated they feel like this Warrior team is. One said he'd be shocked if it takes them more than 20 games to win the championship. I think he's right. This team might be a top 5 team ever. We might be looking at the best offense and defense in the league. I give NO a 5% chance of winning a game in this series.

Yeah I guess I can understand where you are coming from. Although you can gauge some of a players success based on winning, if you base it solely on success youd have Brian Scalibrine ranked above some of the greats. Pete Maravich never won much yet he is considered one of the greats. Anthony Davis has a ways to go, but he is , in three years, one of the most electric, well rounded, and generally good guy players in the league. Hell, wasn't he like one rebound away from a quadruple double?

If AD was playing against GS full bench, then yeah, that would be padding, but he wasn't, they were trying to get some momentum for next game.

Pels have learnt that Cole will defend Curry all series, Davis needs to stop forcing it. Asik needs to stay on the bench. Tell Ryan Anderson to stay at the 3 point line and do what he does best.

The game is made of 4 quarters not 1. As I said is he wanted any chance to win why would he make the second FT towards the end? Thats just padding stats.
9.7 seconds left score 98-103, you only have one shot to win. Miss the FT and give yourself a chance. Make it and Game over.

But either you weren't around when Jordan was 22, or simply are unaware of the stats.
Jordan averaged 44/6 and 2+ steals a game in the postseason at the ripe age of 22. I think Davis is going to have to match those numbers to give the Pels hope. No way in hell they can depend on Reke or Gordon for consistency.

If they don't let GS get off to such a hot start, they can make this a series. GS likes to get a big halftime lead and rest their starters in the 3rd and let them end the game in the 4th. If NO lets them do that they will probably get swept. Also, who else for NO played well?

Ajinca was 3 of 3 with 6 points, 1 steal, 1 Reb, 1 Assist in 3:41 Mins! Why didnt he get more time?
I think Cunningham was great as well. Got some key Rebounds.
Pondexter was probably their second best player, he was all over the place.
Norris Cole for shutting down Curry.

Today should honestly scare the Warriors. They pretty much let the game get to within 4 points in the waning minutes playing vs. basically a single player.
I have no doubts a San Antonio team with Parker, Duncan, Green and Leonard would have kept the game closer or even crushed them in a similar situation.
The thing is...Kawhi is such a game changer simply because of his defensive prowess...he can be switched off vs. any of GS's 1-3, even Draymond.
They're such a tough team to deal with when the playoffs start...they turn into a different monster.

Anyone that thinks AD was great must be out of their mind. Digging yourself into a deep hole then playing one good quarter and still losing isn't a great game by any stretch.

AD had some nasty blocks in 1-3 quarters he kept blocking Klay who somehow thought he was quick enough to get a layup on AD? When AD was out they got smushed asik and ajinca suck. AD had a okay first half, but it was his first ever half of playoff basketball!! What do you expect? And third quarter he played 3-4 minutes and got out with foul trouble. SO he had a 13 and 3 blocks first half of his first ever playoff game, and an amazing fourth quarter great stats and nearly beat the top seed in the western conf...Ill take that any day. PS. Iam really trying not to sound like a homer but thats just what happened and it was a great game and an amazing first game.

Truth is AD wasn't great or terrible. He didn't play well in the first half and it was too little too late in the end. However, he was able to turn it up late and it was a game at the end. It was his first playoff game on the road against a team that has 22 more wins. Curry and Klay missed free throws they shouldn't have and outside of Pondexter he didn't get much help, but that's what you want from a young growing superstar, even if you fall behind don't give up. Some of the negativity on AD in this forum is ridiculous. Harassing him and remaining skeptical of him. Let's walk through memory lane.
1. Davis has no offense is only good defensively. He came back a year later, showing a repertoire of weapons.
2. Davis can't shoot. He established to become an excellent mid range jumper. He's now a superb two way player and on his way to be MVP and DPOY much like MJ and Olajuwon.
3. Early in the season when Davis's PER is off the chart, he can't sustain that throughout the season. yet, he ended with the 8th best PER in history and only Wilt, MJ and Lebron got a higher PER but no of them did it this early in their career.
4. Davis is good, great stat, but isn't clutch, not prime time, and won't take his team to the playoffs. He lead his team to the playoffs with a tougher schedule toward the end and was clutch in several games.
5. Davis is not a top 5 player, no way. Yet GMs and owners will pick Davis first to start any franchise and is the most untradeable player in the league.
6. Davis will not do well in the playoffs and will stink it up. He scores 35 points against a team that won 67 games, (only 7 teams in history has such a record or better), faced against a potential DPOY, and on the road.
Give it a rest people. MJ, Kobe, Lebron all had their failures early on. MJ got punked by Pistons, Kobe got schooled by Jazz, Lebron got whipped by Celtics.

For all those that didn't watch, GS had the game locked up at the end of the 3rd. They had a similar situation just a couple games ago where they were up so much that it didn't matter that the final score seemed closer at the end.
What I want to see is how AD plays when GS is playing strong like they were in quarters 1-3. He went off in the 4th but the Warriors were almost just trying to run out the clock with a big lead that shrank at the very end with just seconds left and FT's being missed by GS.

The only thing that can stop them is themselves. They do just a little too much celebrating for my taste. This is a number 8 seed they're plsying after all. Act like you're supposed to be winning GS.... Because you are.
The seeding in the West can be flip-flopped in so many ways. Anyone of those top 8 teams can beat each other on any given night. Just my opinion.

I'm with you, Adam. Can not stand the way they over react to everything... especially Curry. I know I'll get hate for that because he's the NBA's darling right now.

It's an emotional game, and the games for the most part have been close. It's so easy for us to judge and say don't over react, but if getting excited pumps the team and fans up, then do it. You're at home, get the crowd riled up.
As for the 8 vs 1 matchup, this is no typical 8 seed. You guys act like the 1 seed is supposed to be winning by 30 every game. Even if the Dubs are lucky enough to sweep, I doubt they blow them out in any game.

Thx dude. Exactly. Not so much even celebrating the win, but It's like every made shot warrants raising the roof, gestures to the crowd, etc.
I get it, this is the best team in the league. I get it, Steph is the mvp. I get it, they're unreal to watch. Just too much celebration for my taste.
Hate to say it but I loved seeing asik lay Steph out in the 4th. That's what you gotta do to this team. Make them uncomfortable. Don't be afraid of them.
They're not losing a game in this series but hopefully the grizz can win a game or two. But if SA doesn't make it to the wcf, then this is going to be a short road to the rings.

It would be amazing if GS played Clippers every shot made would be fireworks and every shot made would hear a and 1 on the tv even though there would be no foul.
I am amazed the pelicans are hanging with the Warriors truly amazed. The pelicans are playing the way they want to as well. Klay is crazy I really do think if he was a pelican the warriors would lose this series. Pelicans team isn't good but giving Warriors lots of trouble. If its GS vs Cavs the cavs will get 25 offensive boards a game on draymond and those bigs.

Also I hated the foul on Asik because curry ran into asik who was still setting a pick. Then curry gets up slow and makes a big deal out of it and gets the call which was clearly not a foul on asik. I like cp3 more then steph and I don't like cp3 and his antics at all.

Asik was on defense, not offense. You cannot set a pick on defense and just block someone.

I couldn't agree more and I think it's gonna bite them in the ass. What goes up, must come down and these Warriors are getting a little ahead of themselves.
They haven't really had to face any pressure this season. Next round they're gonna face the team that's the best at pressure, Memphis.
But they feed of their crowd, the more they "celebrate" the wilder the crowd gets.
It's must watch Bball and it's great.

Portland aren't even favored at all in betting odds, so why would I?
You Spurs fans thinking LMA gonna replace Duncan if Portland loses in the first?

Ah typical. The guy being a smart ass backs down.
Maybe just keep your ridiculous comments to yourself, or put your money where your mouth is. You did pretty much disagree with my MEM vs GS call, but now you're backtracking? Weird.

Someone backing up their team when someone counts them out after 1 game shouldn't be considered being a smart ass, but okay then. All I was doing was backing up my team, sorry if that's considered smartassey in this world.

Wasn't talking about a trade or anything, just seems like the Spurs are working to try and pry LMA from Portland, and it could work due to being his home state.

Ryan Anderson is such a little d-bag on the court. Is he pissed that he isn't Kevin Love?
He's got a Kendrick Perkins-level of unwarranted arrogance.

The Warriors went from underrated to overrated and skipped the humble phase, and Curry is a female dog in heat.
