Some are fine, some bleed, and some the auto disappears.....so I no longer buy them unless it is my main football PC player Poz....and that's because I am an addict and must have 1 of all his cards.

The ones signed with pen are the ones that bleed, the Marker ones rarely bleed.

I have quite a few marker ones that have bleed out. The only ones I haven't had an issue with yet are the silver ink ones

Edit: I also believe that where you live and how you store the cards does play a part as well

Yeah the silver ones are the ones to look for, they don't bleed at all.

right now the cards are in Connecticut, will be coming with me when I go back to Florida either this Fall or the next. I keep them in a pretty cool room with little lighting and when there is lighting/sunlight its not direct. I keep them in open two row shoe boxes on a shelving unit, the card I will be getting I will want in a mag as well if that makes any difference

I just looked at the picture of the card, it is signed in blue marker

It is the same card as above just two different players, can provide a picture via PM do not want to post on here, until I get the card to prevent competition :D

Personally i don't like them. The signatures tend to look pretty bad and as mentioned bleeding is common. There are exceptions, of course - but they hold no "extra" value or appeal to me.

I would personally lean away from getting the card, but I have never seen a dual of these two players and I have been searching for a long time haha

They would be cool cards if the bleeding didnt occur. I blame that on the manufacturer (all companies have these issues) for not doing marker research before a signing.

Hell there is a guy on the Baseball board that did some tests to determine the best medium to have certain items autographed with, and guess what, they weren't all sharpie.
