Has anyone else fell victim to eBay's latest whole in their system that allows the seller to cancel the item whenever they feel the need to?
I won a card for my Oladipo Flawless RC Auto master set that I was missing. I got it for a great price due to the NBA regular season being over with (Magic are not in the Playoffs) and the seller's title including the word "Autographs" instead of "Auto". Atleast I think that had something to do with it.
Anyways, 2 days after I paid for the card the seller messaged me that he dropped the card while shipping and the BGS case is broke. How convenient.. I told him that I do not care as I prefer the card raw anyways for my PC. He instead cancelled the listing and refunded my money. I was not even given the opportunity to disagree with the cancelling of the transaction.
So, it appears that the transaction is now closed and the seller does not have to ship the card or pay a final value fee for the transaction. I'm sorry, but this is 100% BS that an option like this even exists!
