Looking to add this card to my collection and one step closer to the PSA "Top 10 basketball cards" collection.....just running through whether I will be looking for regular #138 or a refractor.....what was the circulation of the refractor cards compared with the regular card....I know that prices are not even in the same ballpark but is the refractor worth it?

Just make sure you buy the topps chrome and not the regular topps, as the title suggests.

Yes, buy the Topps Chrome or Chrome Refractors. Right now, Kobe's rookie cards are at their low point, so it's probably a good time to grab some of them which I did it in the past few weeks. You can also take a look at Kobe's Finest Refractor Gold or Bowman's Best Atomic Refractor if you are looking to grab some Kobe's high end rookie cards.
