Question concerning mlb draft

After the draft. Where will these guys go and play this year. ?

Depends on the team drafting the player, depends on the player being drafted such as if they are out of High School or College, and depends when/ if they sign their contracts.

Many players if they sign right away would go to short season A Ball. But there are some rare cases of a player drafted out of College who is advanced enough that they could go right to High A Ball, or even AA. Then in the past, there are players who play in the majors within the same year, this is rare, but does happen every so often.

I'm a NY Mets fan, and I have gotten most of their last few years worth of 1st round picks the summer of their draft year playing in Brooklyn which is short season A ball.

It all depends on how the team assesses their individual talents and where the organization thinks they can gain the experience required to move on to the next level.

i got ya..huge pirates fan..i was hoping..maybe some would go to low a ball to join the wv power....probably not likely then...I do have Princeton devil rays and bluefield blue jays close to me...they are the short season teams
