Abreu and ARod
for
Gallo, Reddick, Kemp and Morrow plus a 2nd round
(If you vote yes, please help me and tell me who on the batting side to drop)
5x5
20 keepers
5 round draft
(I'm in last place, as discussed in an earlier thread.)
Took over a washed up team...need to rebuild
Current roster
Molina
Abreu
Russell
Arod
Peralta
LaRoche
Panik
Grichuk
Martin
Cuddyer
Yelich
Rios
Castillo
Andrus
Odor
Plouffe
Schwarber
Inciarte
Mesoraco
Murphy
Morneau
Chi Chi
Eduardo Rodriguez
Bolsinger
Odorizzi
Betances
Axford
Britton
Casilla
Urias
Appel
Wainwright
Ventura
Bailey
Giolito
I would have to drop 3 guys to make room...probably Grichuck, Cuddyer? and Rios?....
HELP!!!!!

Kemp and Reddick are pretty much worthless in my opinion (he wont sustain this offense IMO). It comes down to whats out there in the second round and with there being 20 keepers I don't think there is going to be much.. I'd ask for more than Gallo because Abreu has 4-5 years of elite ball level.

I pretty much agree 100% with what that. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't making a mistake by declining...I don't even know that a 1st round pick would do much for me either.

What does the other guys team look like? I'd want 2 Top 15 prospect top guys and something on top of that.. Definitely DECLINE

Sounds about right...I was offered JoFer for Abreu straight up...just don't like giving bats for pitcher straight up...
Would it make sense?

In my league which is a simulation league not roto or H2H I would take that deal. Fernandez is a legitimate ace by that I mean easily a top 10 pitcher when healthy.. Tell him you are a little weary about Jo Fer because of the TJ and try to get him to throw in a little added bonus

It's Runs HR's RBI SB Total Bases and Avg for bats (So Abreu lacks the steals)
And pitchers it's
Wins, Svs, K's Era Whip and Quality Starts
....Head to Head weekly. So I will get 1 to 2 starts out of Jofer each week and the only other great pitchers I have for next season would hopefully be;
Odorizzi, Urias, Appel, Wainwright, Giolito and Ventura (If he can find his way)

I would just make the deal try to snag another top young guy from him though.. in two years your rotation is going to be crazy good

He's lacking another 'top' young guy and refuses to give anything else with it...
