Please note: **THIS YEAR THERE WILL BE NO KICKERS** I find kicking a bit random at times so this position will be removed for this season.

Waiver Period will be move to last after claim

-Trade deadline updated to November 26th 12PM EST
-7 votes can veto a trade (this is majority rules since 7 is one more than half of the league)

6 teams make playoffs. Playoffs start week 14.
Winner will be paid in full via check.
Draft is set for Saturday September 5th at 8:00PM *EST* However, I do like to make sure the majority will be present so this is still a bit tentative.

Payment is due AUGUST 15th. If you have not paid by then, the next person on the waiting list will be able to take your spot.
After all team managers are paid up, the draft order will be randomized by a mod from Blowout.

Anyone from last season will get priority spot wise.

First - I LOVE THAT THERE ARE NO KICKERS! THANK YOU!!!

Second - I am down for side games but I also like how this payout is very top heavy and rewards the best of the best. That being said - my suggestion for side games would be to go to a $225 buy-in with the original $200 going toward the main pot. Feel free to divvy the $25 as you see fit - most points in loss, highest scoring non-playoff team, weekly points, etc - whatever. I really don't care one way or the other.

Third - there is a (1) and a (3) next to the TE position. I assume we are only starting one TE but just want to clarify there.

As for the kickers...They are too much of a wildcard and are very unpredictable. Yes they may have come up big for you at times but it wouldn't be because you were able to predict a 50 yard field goal. Thats just my views. We can have a league vote though after everyone is paid up. Maybe we will end up having them just not worth as much.

So far only one person has really expressed to me that the draft date was an issue and he was able to work it out. Out of the now 12 (two who just entered from the waiting list, not counting the two who dropped), none responded via PM with an issue with the draft date.

I did try to avoid as many issues as possible by putting the draft date and time in the OP and price hoping that when people said they were interested then that meant the draft date was fine and they would pay by the due date (next week).

Thats not a bad idea at all and have thought about it a few times. I can't designate more time then I already do to run a keeper league. Work has me very busy. I am a teacher so each night I am constantly preparing lessons for different classes. If things end up easing up in the future I will mull it over again but for the time being I will only run redraft leagues.

Sorry for the delay in getting signed up. Have been on a family vacation in the depths of Minnesota with no cell service.

1. My team is Neverland Ranchers if anyone wants to wheel and deal throughout the season - no one is ever off limits on my squads.

2. I voted - I hate kickers - just my opinion.

3. I am fine going with a keeper league if you think people will be committed moving forward. I am if this ends up being a good and active league. We just need to know that before the draft - year one of a keeper league with only a keeper or two shouldn't matter too much but it would suck if someone was trying to decide between Gore and Gurley thinking it's a standard redraft league only to then have the rules change down the road.

Thats not a bad idea at all and have thought about it a few times. I can't designate more time then I already do to run a keeper league. Work has me very busy. I am a teacher so each night I am constantly preparing lessons for different classes. UPDATE:

Hi guys-

I am pleased to announce that everyone has enrolled on the league homepage and we are ready to go. Just a few reminders.

1) Draft is September 5th *8PM EST* (As known since day one). I encourage everybody to download the ESPN Fantasy football app. If you end up cutting it close to draft time and are unsure last minute if you can make it ($h!t happens) then you can draft through the app and don't need a computer! Its always good to have last minute security.

2) 11/12 owners have voted on the league homepage either for or against kickers. As of right now 6 have voted for NO kickers while 5 have voted FOR kickers. This means that this season we will be going to the original plan that was posted in the OP upon signing up of NO kickers.

3) This is a .5PPR league so draft accordingly

4) Draft order is now set through ESPN and can be seen on the draft link on our league page.

5) Team names are posted at the bottom of the original OP so we all can see who is running which team. This should help when trying to contact someone to work out a trade rather then just a submission through ESPN. Feel free to use BO as a communication source for this league.

6) Subscribe to this thread this way you are up to date and can remain active in this league.

7) Feel free to use the message boards on the league homepage for any thing necessary (trades interests, trash talk, etc..) This is a HIGHLY competitive league.

8) I will send out a PM as a draft reminder 1 day before the draft and the day of the draft.

3. I am fine going with a keeper league if you think people will be committed moving forward. I am if this ends up being a good and active league. We just need to know that before the draft - year one of a keeper league with only a keeper or two shouldn't matter too much but it would suck if someone was trying to decide between Gore and Gurley thinking it's a standard redraft league only to then have the rules change down the road.

You are thinking too deeply into this. As I stated before, I did it without thinking...I did not feel any need to expedite this. I run multiple leagues and this is the only one which I allowed a league vote if 7 felt necessary to veto. Without realizing which league I was in I allowed it to go though. This was not done intentionally whatsoever. You can vote to veto it if you want to, but I ask you to veto it only if you truly think it is unfair, not just to veto it because you angry over what happened. It was a quick mistake that I overlooked without any intent. This trade is not lopsided but if 7 managers absolutely feel that it is then it will be changed.

Then make it a commish approved trade instead of team votes. I guess we voted for team votes instead? No im not thinking to deeply. Why have rules if you just do whatever you want? IMO Defense has more value than kickers...It does take skill to predict what defense you should roll with...more so than kickers. We will probably be keeping defenses but if we want to add QB then that may be more of a possibility. We have a year to think about it lol.
