3. Deadlines

A. Weekly Trade Deadline- All trades must be confirmed AND completed by both teams and the League Commissioner PRIOR to the week's first game in order to be processed for that week.
B. Season Trade Deadline- The cutoff for ALL TRADES is Week 12

4. Determination of Final Standings- The following list is how final league standing AND next year's draft old will be decided-

Pick #1: Team finishing with the worst record in the league during REGULAR season (Fewest Points Scored used as Tiebreaker)
Pick #2: Team finishing with the worst record in the league during REGULAR season (Fewest Points Scored used as Tiebreaker)

5. Scoring and League Setting Information- Scoring & Settings | Fantasy Football | Yahoo Sports

6. Trade Rules

A. Trading is a large part of fantasy football, and even larger still in regards to Keeper Leagues. However, to ensure fairness, ALL Trades will be subject to the approval of the League Commissioner. If the Commissioner is unhappy with the the equality of the trade, he holds the right to VETO the trade. Further more, if you feel like a trade is too unbalanced between two other team managers, please contact the League Commissioner with your concerns.
B. All Trades will be tracked through the League homepage on Yahoo AND through a Post on the League Page here on Blowoutcards.
C. Trades can include any player, as well as future (2016) Draft Picks.
D. All trades must be balanced close enough for both teams to ensure fairness in the league.
E. All Veto trades must be explained by the League Commissioner.
F. The Trade Deadline is during NFL Week 12, and at that point, no trades between teams involving players, draft picks, or a combonation of both may occur.
G. Trades open once again the day after the League Championship Game.

7. Free Agency

A. Free Agents follow all Yahoo Fantasy Football Waiver Rules.
B. Free Agency is locked after the completion of the League Championship game, and will open back up after the next season's Draft.

8. Other League Rules

A. Tanking is STRICTLY PROHIBITED- Sorry if the season doesn't quite go your way, but if there is any instance of suspected Tanking by a team manager, please notify the League Commissioner for further investigation. Tanking occurs in many forms, and these will not be tolerated. If you are found guilty of Tanking, you are subject to League AND/OR League Commissioner's judgement for punishment, including loss of draft picks OR exclusion from League.
B. Complaints/Questions- Please post all questions/complaints in regards to shady activity, rule violations, or rule changes on the league page on Blowoutcards. You can also contact the League Commissioner directly with any questions or complaints.
C. Staying Active- Please stay active as a manager of your team. If for whatever reason you are unable to fulfill your obligations as a league manager, please contact the League Commissioner.
D. Lastly, as always, have fun, and please be kind and respectful to the other managers in the league. We may not always get along with somebody, but let's stay adults about any disagreements. Thanks!

New Keeper Rules for Blowout Keeper League- Year 2 (2015)

1. The Keeper Deadline Date is (TBA- 48 Hours Prior to the next draft)

2. You may select up to three (3) players on your team prior to the Keeper Deadline (Date TBA). You may also select as few as zero players by the previously mentioned deadline.

3. Failure to select a keeper(s) by the Keeper Deadline will lock your list of Keepers for the upcoming season. No Exceptions will be given out for missing the deadline.

4. No changes can be made to the Keeper List after the passing of the Keeper Deadline.

5. You MUST hold a draft pick in the round in which the selected player's Keeper Cost defines. NO EXCEPTIONS

6. Unless otherwise noted by a manager, if a manager has MULTIPLE draft picks in the same round, the League Commissioner will select your lowest draft pick held in that round if needed for a Keeper (ex- Team Manager A has two 1st Round Picks, 3rd and 7th overall. If that manager selects a player with a Keeper Cost of a Round 1 Pick, then the lowest draft pick in that round, in this case 7th overall, would be used towards the Keeper Cost)

7. Once the League Championship Game is completed, all Free Agent/Waiver Wire players are locked. The only players eligible to be Kept the following year are those on a roster at that time (during the "offseason").

8. You may trade draft picks and/or players to another manager in regards to Keepers or draft picks used for keepers, however, all of these trades must follow the same regulations as all other trades.

9. Keeper Cost- The cost to select a player as keeper for your team is determined by the player's draft position in the previous year. This includes all players, regardless if drafted by your team, picked up on the waiver wire/free agents list, or from a trade with another manager.

To keep a player as a First Year Keeper (This includes not only during the players duration on on your team, but the team of other managers too), the following will be the Keeper Cost of the player-

I've had 7 guys on that list at one time or another haha. Just traded Murray, still have Mathews, Brown, Bell, and Murray (Brown, Bell, and Murray I'll have to keep at 1 round lower than what you have above since it'll be my 2nd year).

Still so annoyed with myself for drafting CJ Anderson and then dropping him way too early. I was a huge fan of him (still am) but would have never predicted that he'd be given the chance he got with all those injuries.

I probably let Lacy go too early as well, but not too upset about that one. Got a good return for him in a trade and ended up landing Brown this year as my 3rd keeper.

If anyone wants one of the 4 guys I still have, please pm me and we'll see if we can work something out :)!

I am open to three options

1. Keeping our teams and having keepers with the same round penalties (will come up with new rules if u want to keep a player for a third year)

2. Keeping our teams and keeping 3 guys regardless of round and just having 3 keepers every year

3. New draft with 3 keepers going forward

Obviously depending on your team you may vote different
But you can turn a team around so quickly in football by just getting one star RB so your current team shouldn't dictate your decision IMO

I would like to trade for Brown and Bell, but my concern is that this is the final year of the league. Are we continuing on or are we terminating at the end of this season?

My rankings as well. Personally I love the idea of trying to plan who you want to keep as "best value" and working out if someone good is worth the keep (for example Jimmy G this year is he worth the first round pick?)

2. Keeping our teams and keeping 3 guys regardless of round and just having 3 keepers every year

3. New draft with 3 keepers going forward

Obviously depending on your team you may vote different
But you can turn a team around so quickly in football by just getting one star RB so your current team shouldn't dictate your decision IMO

I think we should stick to the original plan of this being a 3 year keeper league haha....Re draft next year. Some moves that I made last season were done under this assumption. I wouldnt have been so willy nilly about my draft picks if this was not ending after this year. We should just do a new draft and start over

No regardless of if a different team keeps him he is still considered a 2nd year keeper
I don't think that's correct because Julio Jones was mine at the beginning of last year. I drafted him in the 2nd and traded him away. So I'm pretty sure, since it's a new owner of Julio Jones, that he can be kept for a 2nd again. If I would have kept him, it would have cost ME a 1st. Not the new owner.

I know I would be out if the case was keeping our current teams. I made most of my moves last season when I was in dire all out mode due to the fact that I knew I would only have to suffer one season. Had it been another two or more then I would not have done what I did. Since this was a three year term keeper league my vote would be to start over if anything. We should start fresh, we have been with each other for what will be three years. We now are getting the hang of it and can draft better next season based on the past three years with a clearer understanding of how this league and these rules work. Yes we should iron out a few things before its created but lets start new like the original plan!

New Keeper Rules for Blowout Keeper League- Year 2 (2015)

1. The Keeper Deadline Date is (TBA- 48 Hours Prior to the next draft)

2. You may select up to three (3) players on your team prior to the Keeper Deadline (Date TBA). You may also select as few as zero players by the previously mentioned deadline.

3. Failure to select a keeper(s) by the Keeper Deadline will lock your list of Keepers for the upcoming season. No Exceptions will be given out for missing the deadline.

4. No changes can be made to the Keeper List after the passing of the Keeper Deadline.

5. You MUST hold a draft pick in the round in which the selected player's Keeper Cost defines. NO EXCEPTIONS

6. Unless otherwise noted by a manager, if a manager has MULTIPLE draft picks in the same round, the League Commissioner will select your lowest draft pick held in that round if needed for a Keeper (ex- Team Manager A has two 1st Round Picks, 3rd and 7th overall. If that manager selects a player with a Keeper Cost of a Round 1 Pick, then the lowest draft pick in that round, in this case 7th overall, would be used towards the Keeper Cost)

7. Once the League Championship Game is completed, all Free Agent/Waiver Wire players are locked. The only players eligible to be Kept the following year are those on a roster at that time (during the "offseason").

8. You may trade draft picks and/or players to another manager in regards to Keepers or draft picks used for keepers, however, all of these trades must follow the same regulations as all other trades.

9. Keeper Cost- The cost to select a player as keeper for your team is determined by the player's draft position in the previous year. This includes all players, regardless if drafted by your team, picked up on the waiver wire/free agents list, or from a trade with another manager.

This might not be a bad idea.

I bought a clickydraft membership in order to run a draft similar to what you're describing for my dynasty league.

The draft board is totally customizable and really easy to use. And we can set the pick timer to anything (I think 24 hours is ample time, 48 seems way too high after using a 24 hour clock in my other draft).

So if you guys wanted to run it through clickydraft just let me know and it would be no trouble at all for me to set it up with my membership and then JB can upload the results to our league.

Lynch is an awesome player, but only 1 or 2 teams have the firepower to even make you an offer at that price as they would need 2 1st round picks (1 to trade you and then 1 to keep him).

I personally don't have an issue with it. JB is right, Michael Miracle absolutely destroyed that teams chances this year to try and win last year. Nobody would touch that team without some modifications. Alfred is around 25-30th pick in most mocks so its not like he's getting AP for free. I think what he did was fair given the situation and I have no issues with it.

Lol... really appreciate that you guys couldn't talk these trades through before the deadline and more than 24 hours before...

Its not an ideal situation with the way keepers have to be imputed with the keeper penalties and your certainly making it a lot easier :)!

I appreciate the activity and making trades which is needed to make a league as good as this is but im sure you would start to get annoyed after not having much cooperation from the other members.

But your right... Ill sit around all day waiting for you to finish your trades and me have to re setup from start to finish the draft board

I have a feeling that everybody is just going to take it as is, I personally think we should have paused the draft. This was a fun league the first 2 years, but this year looks like a way less fun, and I am not sure i will even keep up with after the way the draft went.

I am still confused how it got messed up that much. I do agree with jsnake. I am not sure that I care as much about following after how that went down. I almost wish we would get refunds and just make it a "follow if you want for fun league." Drafting from the wrong spots after making trades and messing teams up shuffles things a lot and the proper "fate" outcome wont play out. Kind of a bummer this season.

With some solid coaching on my part, I've gotten my team close to a win! They're scoring points! Now, I'm not going to win or anything, but small victories here. Baby steps :D
