Alen Hanson to get the call next?

With Jordy Mercer seemingly out for an extended period of time, it's possible the Bucs may call up Alen Hanson. It would either be him or Lombardozzi and the Pirates sure could use a spark right now and Hanson might be that spark....

Hanson has is a second baseman. I see the pirates trying to trade for someone. We are in desperate need of a utility guy that can play the left side of the infield.

Hanson for me please. He can convert easily and will be better fit going forward. Not like Mercer was a cat over there. Plus his bat is shot.

Nobody is gonna trade a decent ss for nothing. Unless we could work in Walker in the trade I would not be for giving up any prospects.

I agree... he should easily develop into a solid major leaguer and does have star potential, kind of a J-Roll type upside.

They don't want to hurt his confidence....so they left him down on the farm despite a clear need for a middle infielder and no actual better options. :confused::confused::confused:
