I can't fathom more than $100 for a BGS 10...and maybe even $50 would be the right price.

The population report is almost irrelevant with the sheer mass of unopened cases out there.

**EDIT**
A BGS 10 Griffey sold for $890+ and his BGS 9.5 sells for roughly $45...so it's approximately a 20X multiplier for Griffey, but we need to keep in mind that Griffey collectors are far more numerous and driven than Johnson collectors.

I would say $50.

While we all appreciate your advice, do understand that these were NOT in unopened wax as suggested above. These are in boxed sets. Also a very condition sensitive, tough card. $45 seems very low

I know BGS 10s go for more than a PSA 10 but $890 seems really high.

That being said, I'd agree that a BGS 10 Unit would be in the $50 range.

Griffey is a much tougher 10 in that set too. Only 5 out of 3016 vs. 17 out of 832 for Johnson. I'd say $50-60 range as well.

One went for $98 in January. In 2013, they went for $104 and $78. in 2012, $101.

Correct, I overlooked "The Rookies." My mistake.

That said, as someone who has over 3000 Randy Johnson rookies...I only collect the Expos 1989s.
