As the top fantasy player, in a keeper league, would you trade him for;
Carlos Correa
Starling Marte
mookie betts
And a first
It's 18 keepers and all three would be kept.
I know the general rule of don't replace 1 with 3, but these three would give a solid 18 keepers (hitting and pitching)
Feedback/advice please
Stats that count

Its tough but I like it
3 top 25 keepers for a top 5 keeper

I'd take it. As good as Goldy is, you can get 3 good players plus a pick. Can't go wrong either way in my opinion.

With 18 keepers, the first rounder is basically pointless it would seem. Who do you currently have at SS and OF? That makes a big difference imo.

Keepers currently in OF and SS
SS Eligible;
Miguel Sano
Francisco Lindor (probably won't keep, depending)
Russell (up in the air)
Jung Ho Kang (up in the air)
Corey Seager
Outfield Eligible;
Cespedes
George Springer
Manuel Margot
Rest of my keepers will probably be Pitchers minus 1 or 2
Greinke
Tanaka
Carlos Martinez
Rodon
JoFer
Sonny Gray
Stroman
Wheeler
Urias
Giolito

You have a nice young team.. SS is a little crowded but I'd do the deal.. Lots of help in OF and you'll be able to flip Correra or Seager for a premium.. In bold is who'd I would keep

Appreciate that.
Yea, SS is pretty crowded. I gotta deal Wheeler next season before keeper deadline, I feel he still has some value, even if just for a pick.
It would help me lots in the OF and add significant depth to my team I think.
Thanks for the advice everybody, now time to figure this out with the other guy.

I'd do the deal.
chansen10, when keeping 18 players, why would you not keep Tanaka?! He's a must keep given the number of players kept imo.

I highlighted 13 players (I'm not a believer in Tanaka or Rodon I would trade both).. He's gaining three more that puts his keepers imo at 16.. He only listed SS, OF and P so I'm sure he has some other players he'd keep.. The route I'd go is packaging say Tanaka, Rodon and a prospect like Margot for a solid bat.. His pitching is pretty dam good..

Taking into consideration what you said.
Am offered Tanaka and Rodon for Wil Myers. Thoughts?
My hesitation is Wil Myers capability to avoid injuries for a full season, as well as his Strikeout rate.
(it's like trading an injury for an injury...really worth it?)

I'd keep Tanaka. I'm not huge on Myers.

Goldschmidt trade fell through last minute, but I made a huge trade (poll in another thread)...a couple people wanted it vetoed (just wanted to see if it was something I should feel bad about).
I got Puig and Strasburg and lost Wheeler, Tanaka, Pillar and Rodon
So keepers would look something like;
Goldschmidt
Sano
Odor
Puig
Russell
Springer
Cespedes
Margot
Seager
Greinke
Carlos Martinez
S Gray
JoFer
Strasburg
Stroman
Urias
Giolito
Last keeper;
Lindor, Daniel Murphy or Kang...not sure still

I like puig the best long-term.. Might have been able to get him cheaper for how bad him and Strasburg both been, but if they both bounce back to there 2014 form than you'll win the deal.. Also I don't like the Myers deal.. I'm not big on Tanaka or Rodon, but I know a lot of people are very very high on Rodon. Probably can get more than I'd personally be willing to give.. You have a great rotation.. Don't sleep on Stroman, he'll be the jays ace next year

I got Puig and Stras for much cheaper in my first trade, but got vetoed, because for some reason, everybody based it on last years performances, not this year.
It is what it is, time will tell if either of them turn it around. I'm scared that Rodon's long term is gonna be huge value
