In a 10 person PPR league.

Lineup is...

QB
RB
RB
WR
WR
WR
TE
Flex
D
K

I have two options for keepers. Can't decide. Keep in mind it's a PPR league. These are really the only options I have.

Sammy Watkins at #9 and Deandre Hopkins at #13

Or

Jeremy Hill as my last pick and Vernon Davis at #6

Which way would u go? Leaning Hill/Davis

I'd actually go with the two WRs. If you think of it as keeping hill with a 6th and Vernon with a last round, it's less value than keeping the WRs.

Now if you get to keep hill in future years as your last or near last pick (without having to keep Davis), then you could go with hill/Davis, although I'd still lean with the WRs.

How do your keepers work that those are your only two options?

I'd go with the 2 WRs, Vernon is a waste of a pick even if you're getting great value from Hill.

You get 2 keepers for the round they were selected in last year.

If they were picked up as Free Agents (like Hill was for me), they count as your last pick and you HAVE to keep another player you picked in rounds 4-8. The only viable options that were on my roster at the end of the season are Reggie Bush (round 4 - not considering) or Vernon Davis in round 6.

After this coming season, if I wanted to keep Hill, he would count as my second to last pick and I wouldn't have to keep Davis.

Still thinking the WRs?

I'd still go WRs, although it's closer. Looking at next year, you're still getting great combined value with the two WRs, plus you don't have the negative impact of keeping Davis at 6 this year. Hopkins could be a 2nd rounder in the next year or two if he QB situation changes.

If you keep Hill, I'd keep Bush over Davis. Yes it's two rounds earlier, but the talent is bunched up in those mid rounds, and I'd rather get someone who may be usable in bush than an absolute throw away in the 6th.

Ended up keeping Watkins and Hopkins. Had pick #4. 10 person league. Had to do our draft early this year.

Newton
Keenan Allen
Watkins
Hopkins
Forte
Melvin Gordon
Jimmy Graham
Lamar Miller - Flex
Haushka
Panthers

Bench - Tom Brady, Joique Bell, Breshad Perriman, Victor Cruz, Terrence Williams, Tre Mason

Like my squad. Got Newton super late to offset Brady's suspension.
