Hey guys,
Back in the beginning of May, I purchased quite a few cards. I went abroad from May 11th until yesterday. All the packages came...except for the biggest one I was waiting for- about 10 Patch cards all numbered /25. I spent about 190 dollars for all the cards. I went to check out the shipping status and saw that it had had been delivered, but needed to be signed for. The seller never told me he would be using the kind of shipping which would need to be signed for. By June 12th, the package was back up in the seller's hands. I just got back yesterday and I am out the $ and out the cards. I have messaged the seller, but am a bit worried that there is not much to do in the case that he does not answer. Any ideas?

Paypal has a 6 mth refund policy I believe. Just file a case and they can see it was never delivered and you will get your money back. Easy as pie.

I don't think there is anything you can do if he chooses to ignore you - you just have to hope that he's honest - I could be wrong but at this point you can't really file a claim since it's clear the delivery was attempted.
EDIT - although I haven't filed many claims, perhaps it really is easy if you can show delivery was attempted and not completed.
On a side note - You really should have told him you were going abroad.
The insurance is for his protection. Not yours. So you can't blame him for not telling you. That's not his fault.

So the seller has the cards back in his possession? If that's the case, you will just have to try to get the cards or a refund back from him. Otherwise, I would check your local PO to see if it's waiting there to be signed for.

I opened a case to have a line of communication with him. He has 1K+ feedback, so hoping for the best. I'd prefer the cards over the $.

I have to back to the messages. There is a chance I told him I'm going abroad since I wanted to close a general deal for these 10 cards. I searched recent listings to see if the cards were relisted, and they were not. So, hoping for the best.

Hoping that they have not been sold.

The seller owes you a refund or the card if he has it back.. However the issue that could hurt you is refusing a package(not signing for is considered a refusal) can void your buyer protection through Paypal.
