Hey Guys, wanted to start a league that's different then what I usually play in/start. This one is for those who do their research and want a bit of a challenge.

Auction style, winner take all PPR with 14 teams.

Also, no kickers or defenses. I want a league where you gotta figure out how to win without fluke defensive games/kickers having big games.

Those two slots are replaced with a WR/RB slot and a WR/RB/TE slot.
Standard 1QB, 3WR, 2RB, 1TE slots along with the two above.

So this will require finding the hidden gems within the WR & RB positions.

Happy to hear opinions on scoring and the look of the league. But I want this to be a pretty tough league with the best player rewarded at the end of the season.

Post questions here, if you want to join, PM me your email address. Payments will be collected via Leaguesafe and will be requested once the league is full. Draft date will be voted upon after league is full.

How does free agency work in auction style drafts?

How does free agency work in auction style drafts?

The most common way is called FAAB (Free Agent Acquisition Budget). Basically, all owners start the season with $100, and each week, you put in a blind bid on the player you want to pick up. On the day waivers process, whoever has the highest bid gets the player. Players who clear waivers without being bid on can be picked up at any time, just like normal free agency.

But auction leagues can still be set up with traditional waivers-style free agency if the commissioner desires.

I'm interested, and will take a spot. Thanks!

Yeah I like the bid approach for waivers.
