2010 Topps T206 retail is Live

Not sure why my backwoods Target and Wal Marts always seem to be first but they have Topps T206 Baseball & Rookies & Stars FB 24 pack box, Rack Packs and Blasters. Nothing special from what I could see, but nice early release for T206.

Last year this product was pretty hot the first week.

Died like a dog in about 2 weeks

sets with 50 sps take about 2 cases to make. and i could not sell them for 39.99

Saying its like bronze is being too kind lol. This stuff has brutal written on it. Last years is down to $50. Like you said, the interest in sets just wasnt there.

And i really liked the look of the 206 set but no one else did.. LOL

Ginter and heritage are enough throwbacks. and they do so well.

It was probably cheap to make. Topps probably figured if they could turn a cheap to produce product around fast enough during the Strashype they could make a pretty penny on it. Of course, now that Stras is hurt this stuff has no redeeming qualities to it. Good thing for Topps, I'm sure they already presold a ton of it.

Me neither, Topps said at their collector meet and greet event at the National that the main factor in if a product comes back for another year is how well it sold the previous year. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't believe it sold too well last year.

I think it is a nice set and all, but by this time after Ginter, Heritage, and this year Chicle have all been released, collectors have had their fill of retro products.

I think because there are so few baseball releases this year T-206 will do well. I believe people are starving for any baseball product right now. I now I am. And last year I did pretty well selling it.

yeah, i still ordered a lot of it for my little store even at others saying not to because there hasnt been any new product in so long i really believe people will open it this year as people are starving for something new

Only 10-15 products this year.... it will sell well.

My LCS store order 3 boxes last year they order 3 cases of it this year.

It will sell becuase only 1 product a month...

Found 2 blasters and 5 Racks at local Target. One Relic (Gallardo) and this..

Why couldn't have been about 2 weeks earlier? The centering doesn't help either. You never know though, maybe if I get it graded it will be GEM MINT.
