What would be the cheapest yet safe place to live near the city. Queen Anne? Edmonds?
I'm looking for close walking distance, safe, and affordable.

If you live in Seattle or are familiar with the city I would really appreciate your knowledge/opinions. :)!

Are you looking to be in the city proper? I lived in Bellevue and Kent for a while so I am familiar with the area. Do you have a family? And what is your definition of affordable? That would tighten up your options.

A few other things just thought of: Are you going to be working in Seattle and planning on commuting? I-5 is horrible during rush hour if you are coming from the south.

And don't forget to get yourself some Taco Time.

Gonna need some more details. Walking distance to where? It's not cheap living in Seattle at all. Unless you want a 600 sq ft apt.
