They feel like a basketball on the front and on the Back of each card says "sample".

One of the player on the uncut sheet is a Kobe rookie. Would this be worthwhile to maybe buy? Or is just a dud?

These were issued through Wal-Mart in the late 90's. They have some collectible value, but they made a ton of them.

so you don't think there might be a premium on his rookie being part of an uncut sheet?

The fact that Kobe is included is better than if he weren't included, certainly. But they sold thousands of these at Wal-Mart for like $14.99. I could see it still pulling $10-$20 to the right person, but beyond that I don't think there is too much future growth.

did they all say sample on the back?

Every one I've seen said sample. I suppose so that people couldn't cut them up and sell them as singles. Now it wouldn't matter as much as none of the singles bring enough to justify cutting it up, but back in the day $15 for this set would have been a steal. I'm sure even despite the cards from the sheet saying sample, people probably still cut them up back then and tried to sell the singles as the originals for a profit.
